There is often a bit of banter between Australia and New Zealand. But deep down we love each other. These are my observations as an Australian hiker spending 2 years living in New Zealand. :)

😂😂😂. Very funny. We (🇨🇦) in our house are constantly talking about or guessing what Aussies call something. Sparky (fire fighter)etc. Not that hosers are any better, eh?

The amount of times I have told my NZ friends not to just walk into the bush in bear feet on our Aus hikes.

I do an outdoor course and one of the girls there is from Alice. Every so often you hear someone say "it is so hot right now" and you turn to see her eyes like daggers haha. What I never understand is how she never feels or complains about the cold when she goes on our mountaineering trips, but then again she is from Alice - they make those people out of steel or somethin'

I’m surprised you don’t see more dropped ‘i’s on the trail. All those discombobulated dm sms at the fsh and chp shop.

😂😂 They put so much work into dropping their 'i's that they forgot to get chicken salt for their fish and chip shops. Where is the chicken salt guys?

Funnily enough, the one in the video actually had esky written in giant letters on the front. I had to turn it around so you couldn't see it 😂
