Relax with 15 minutes of wholesome cooking content as we cook for Shabbat with Adeena Sussman’s recipes from her new book, ‘Shabbat.’
Put on your apron and make golden challah (plus braiding techniques), apple-cucumber salad, poached salmon with zucchini salad, chicken with figs and grapes, cardamom-berry crisp, seared broccoli steaks with caper vinaigrette and the fluffiest, creamiest potato kugel.

Great video. I might have a go at the side dishes (I'm vegan and there's only me eating). Lovely yellow challah.

You should check out her book - many of her recipes are vegan or can be veganized. She also has a vegan ‘water challah’ recipe in the book. The berry crisp was vegan, and if you use an egg replacer for the kugel, that would be easy to veganize too. The broccoli and vinaigrette were vegan and I think this would work great with cauliflower steaks too!
