From the minute I bought Forever Changes, I have never missed a day of listening to this LP. Then I had to buy it on CD and it's the first of the music I listen to. I still have the original album I bought. There will never be any music like Arthur Lee produced, not ever again.

One of the best albums of all time...listened to it almost nightly growing up in the 60's...rate it up there with Sgt. Peppers and Pet Sounds as essential LP's to have...

Spot on. Only one problem, Bryan McClean was a massive part of Forever Changes, and definitely wrote the best songs on it. He is never mentioned which is a shame :-(

Why didn't McLean become a superstar then? Please answer me that
@leonardjohnny678 жыл бұрын
+a1974h - Well becoming a superstar isn't a definition of musical greatness is it? If so, where does that leave Mick Head? Arthur Lee was magnificent but to descibe him as a superstar isn't accurate. He is and always was very underground, the vast majority have never heard of him

+John Leonard point taken about being a superstar.

Bryan Maclean wrote very little on Forever Changes.......'alone again or' and 'old man'........yes 'alone again or' is a great song but the rest of the album is Arthur's work . Bryan did nothing of any substance post 'Forever Changes' It really is Arthur's work, so John what were the other songs that Bryan wrote?
