Apologies for any confusion lets clear some things up: 1. The fragment near the prospect town grace is a shadow dude enemy holding a pot you need to kill 2. A 9th fragment you need for +5 (and again sorry on this, Hollow has 9 in his notes for this and it got confused in production) is east of the scorched ruins site of grace and again an enemy holding a pot. Hope that helps!

It's supposed to be like Sekiro's leveling system. It's made that way so that level 586 players like myself don't obliterate everything. Lol My high level means nothing. It's back to being a level 1 wretch again and playing not to get hit. I love it. 😂 I'm on NG+14 just because.

FIGURED IT OUT. There are TWO pot guys at the following graveyards that drop them MUST BE DONE AT NIGHT. 1st one is in the graveyard WEST of prospect town 2nd one is in the graveyard EAST of the scorched ruins grace…behind the giant tree

Level 250 played since Pre-Order, returned for the DLC with maxed out everything possible and felt like a little B. Thanks to this video it evened the playing field. I was beyond discouraged going into this DLC after all of the hard work I put into the game. Now I'm excited to play it, I wasn't aware of these items and I honestly was just going to push it off til they nerf the game. I played all of the bosses before they got nerfed and this DLC was giving me serious flashbacks of that haha. I honestly have no idea how I dealt with it at the time. When I accidentally found Melina WAY before she was blowing up on KZfaq for the killing videos. So for me, I thought it was a mandatory boss. I spent around 8 hours, then 4 hours the next day just to be her without over leveling and farming more gear. I didn't feel like dealing with that nightmare again. I mean, I'm sure this DLC will have harder bosses but at this point in time, I'm not going to push off guides... hints me being here :)

There seems to be a glitch on alot of peoples games including me when theres only 7 to collect, i believe the reason is that only 1 for some reason is collected at the church as ive reached all of these places before and killed the pot enemy and still no 8th shard

I destroyed the dlc, killing the bosses in 2/3 attempts, but now I'm at the final boss and it's impossible. He kills me in max 2 hits and in the second phase he's too fast, I'm even using some sort of "cheese build" and also mimic tear, but he destroys me in 5 seconds 😭

My level 586 wretch(574 hrs) means nothing in the shadow realm. You need to level up via the new leveling system(like Sekiro). I'm on ng+14, but it doesn't matter what NG you're in for the DLC, you'll get wacked if you dont use the new stuff to lvl. Lol I have every location and was only able to get it to 4.

You need 9 Scadutree Blessings to get to level 5. Not 8. A lot of people are confused by this video. Yes you get 2 at the church, it’s just you need 9 instead of 8. That’s why you’re 1 short guys.

New game +5 and I’m having a real tough time with Mesmer snake dude. He is insane but I have real heavy armor and now using that Verdigris Greatshield and blocking his regular attacks in 1st phase then second phase is snarky mode and using the Blasphemous blade to get more heals and damage from far away

There are two more i know of, one is behind the church to the left there is a cave and i think the second is in there. Another is east of the scorched ruins grace, as soon as you spawn turn right and there will be a gravesite with another enemy with a pot on his head, kill him and you should be good.

I can personally confirm that the Church of Consolation only gives 1 fragment. I'm not sure why this isn't being discussed more, but I have spent literally over an hour checking and rechecking the sites listed above, and I am 1 short. And yes, I killed the pot enemy in that one location. That being said, there is a second pot enemy just east of the Scorched Ruins grace, so you can still get +5, but the guide will only net you +4. Solved: Rage Gaming just sucks at math. The church does, in fact, give 2 fragments (I had to boot up a new character to test this). But the statement "8 fragments, which will get you to +5" is false. You need 9 fragments for +5 (1 for +1, and 2 for each level thereafter). Because the video doesn't appear to acknowledge the fact that the pot-head enemies drop the fragments, I'm guessing they just killed them without realizing. Obviously, the one near Prospect Town requires you to kill this enemy, which they didn't mention. There is another pot-head just east of the Scorched Ruins grace (2nd one you'll reach after spawning into the DLC). This gives you 9 total fragments for +5 buff. Highly misleading video, and I wasted hours trying to figure this out, and I have yet to see a correction. Very disappointing.

Anyone missing one of the pet ashes? I've gone to all of the locations in the video, and looked through the comments and I'm not sure which one I'm missing. Went to the area near the first grace in gravesite plain, the east of prospect town, the golden statue in the room with all the scorpions, the tree near the bottom of the staircase before the boss fight, killed the person with the pot on the bridge, went up the elevator after the boss fight, went to the area near the greatbridge north, and went to ellac river cave.

Two errors in this video: (1) The fragment by Prospect Town is dropped by an enemy, a shadow with pot on his head. (2) You need 9 fragments to get to level 5, not 8 (1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 9), ergo one fragment is missing.

***IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ*** Video is WRONG. Not sure how, but somehow these guys managed to pick up a fragment without even noticing it. You need 9 fragments to hit +5 blessing (1 for the first, and 2 for each thereafter). For those paying attention to this chat, you know that the pothead enemies drop fragments (which they failed to explain for the Prospect Town fragments). There is a 2nd pothead enemy just east of the Scorched Ruins grace (2nd site of grace you will reach by traveling north after originally spawning into the DLC area). That will give you 9 fragments if you get the rest of the fragments detailed in the video above, which gets you +5 blessing. Very frustrating that MULTIPLE people have pointing out that something is wrong, and Rage Gaming hasn't corrected the info, and doesn't even seem to be engaging with the posters who are raising these concerns.
