I don't think the writers understand just how important Alec's eye colour is. Magnus always had a thing for black hair and blue eyes, that's what attracted him to Alec in the first place. He reminded Magnus of Will. Alec even reminds Jem and Tessa of Will !! But I LOVE Matt.. so I just calm myself
