If you notice, when Magnus start's to lift Alec's shirt, the rune that the makeup team always puts on his stomach is missing. Meaning that scene was improvised by Harry :). 2. They never meet Caine in the books. and in fact, Simon gets the mark off in a rather... unconventional way. More specifically they summon an Angel for a favor (I'll get to that in a few episodes), and the Angel agrees, only if he gives up the mark. Simon agrees, and the Angel takes it from him, because he does not deserve Heaven's mark. 3. Jonathan mentions that Paris is the biggest institute in the world. It is not. The London Institute is! However, despite it's size, it's been rather empty for the past few hundred years. It's also haunted by a very helpful and very kind ghost. 4. Simon's face when Meliorn hits on him is something that replays in my head every day 5. The Morgenstern sword was a thing in the books two, except it was two swords. Made by Wayland the Smith, the same Smith who made who also made the famous swords Excalibur (also called Caliburn), Joyeuse, Durendal, Balmung and Cortana (the famous Carstairs swords). The two Morgenstern swords are called Heosphoros and Phaesphoros, and are meant to balance each other out. Good and bad. Phaesphoros was given to Jonathan by Valentine during the war against Valentine (The Mortal War), and Heosphoros was sold to a weapon's shop by Jocelyn, when she ran away. Clary bought it back from the shop during the City of Heavenly Fire, and it played a big part in the end of TMI. 7. The song that plays during the Sizzy scene is called Carry You, by Ruelle and Fleurie, which is beautiful because both of their songs have been used in the show before. Hurts Like Hell and Soldier by Fleurie were both used, as was War of Hearts, The Other Side, Storm. Bad Dreams, Where Do We Go From Here, Fire Meets Fate, and two other ones (I Get To Love You, and Where We Come Alive) which are later in the season by Ruelle. 8. I can never see the Clace reunion the same after the bloopers lmfao. You'll see it when you finish season 3B, but it's really funny lmao.

Someone commented that Magnus lifting Alec's shirt was improved during the training scene. They're right, when Magnus lifted Alec's shirt he didn't have any runes on his stomach cause during that shot it wasn't added. But we've seen Alec shirtless before he has runes all over his torso. So Alec caught himself by pulling away from Magnus so they could move on to the next scene. Improvisation between these two is insane.

this is one of my fav eps (nothing to do with all the malec and sizzy content this ep of course 😉) (again sorry for the long comment this is just a great ep) magnus and alec again being so domesticate & alec not being a morning person is so me, them warning you of the training scene has me dead and your stress about it lol. among other things the fight was well choreographed I’m especially impressed with harry! & they are literally both so attractive it’s ridiculous & the fight scene was so so hot I’m a puddle, “don’t flirt with me” magnus was right last ep when he said “you know how we get” you pausing before they made out, I would’ve done the same to prepare myself if i didn’t watch it live, your reaction to this scene was well worth it and exactly why I love your reactions, I feel bad for magnus he clearly is struggling with mortality having cain be the worlds oldest vampire is actually so cool lol I love the lore behind the mark of cain and can we talk about sizzy this ep!! they’re absolutely adorable I can’t!! “you just haven’t met the right guy yet” also cool that meliorn is queer!! im so glad simon doesn’t have the mark anymore, clapping it up yet again for alberto in that scene and the fact that izzy knowing she would relapse but still did it to save simon, and she didn’t hesitate she immediately grabbed the knife I mean come on they mean sm to each other, it was actually such a beautiful scene I definitely think they are really bonded now jonathan is pretty powerful which is scary, though it does seem he wants to get to know clary but is still up to his murderous ways 🙄 I wish that we could change jonathan bc he seems to love clary and want to change but I think he’s too far gone :( and clary looked so good in the black hair and her outfit you can say what you want about her but she’s always slaying her style side notes, I think it’s cool that jonathans actor luke gets to speak french I love when we get to hear other languages in english speaking shows! & they actually did shoot in Paris which is absolutely amazing the shot with the Eiffel Tower in the background!! and I bet the actors had so much fun! im so glad jace and luke are looking for clary and have faith to finding her, and of course im so glad they did find her at the end of the ep, and I think clary and jaces reunion is my fav clace kiss, it’s just a very sweet scene

This episode was very heavy on the Malec lol I still find it hilarious how Jace and Clary are supposed to be the main couple but everyone always freaks out over Malec because it’s Malec 😂 and then you get clace moments are as yay 🙃 deeper and deeper into the story you go lol you probably won’t survive 3x15 going on 😬 Our Boys Man…. the long break you had to take during that scene I CANT 😭😭😭 this is what i was waiting for yes this is it and i don't know if its just me but that reunion scene of clary and jace was so weird like it had zero chemistry. jace didn't seem at all as happy as he should be for someone who just reunited with the girl he thought was dead and broke down over.

Ah, at long last, this episode. Your reactions to the Malec scenes were such a mood xD. All their scenes are amazing - the morning scene, the training scene, the after scene, and the street scene 😭. This is one of those episodes that's only for Malec. Just them xD. Also, the break during the training scene was such a mood lol. During it I was like "if I'd noticed how long the video was it would've been obviously, you need the extra time for freaking out" XD. I probably wouldn't have actually but you know lol. Now, a few specific thoughts about each of those scenes lol (except I may forget something because I accidentally deleted this comment when almost done writing it xd). The morning scene: ALEC THAT IS THE POUTIEST POUT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE SLGJDFKLS XD. Also his 😐😑 after Magnus only gave him a peck XD. And the fact that responsible, serious Alec is not at all a morning person is just XD. The training scene: I have no words. That's a lie, I do have words: A H. Seriously though, seeing Harry's dance background in Magnus's fighting is SO COOL. He's so graceful, and the fight choreography in that scene is amazing too. Also, Harry lifting up the shirt is the most perfect improv ever xDD. The fact that they saw that Alec didn't have has runes (since they didn't plan for his torso so be seen) and they were still like "This is the one we want. This one". Amazing XD. Also, Magnus really said "I asked my boyfriend to teach me how to fight. I know how to fight, but I am rusty so I need to practice. Hm. I'm gonna flirt with him relentlessly. Just to see what happens :)". Iconic XDD. The after scene: HUAH. This scene is like a punch to the gut (in a good way) with shock for everyone who watches this episode XD.
