Great job. Thanks for showing detail of software and CNC setup and not sugar coating. It takes a significant investment in tooling, time, materials and a long learning curve to make an acceptable cue. You can use butts that didn't work out for sliding glass door handles, cart handles, custom grille tools, etc. Ask me how I know:)

The checkbox for final joint diameter in cue cut is so you can produce the Final Cut on a shaft with an oversized tip ( > than taper settings default ) and still preserve the correct final joint diameter

Sorry, but we are no longer set up with taper bars. You would need a profiled taper bar unless you are making a conical shaft.
