Shailene Woodley and Theo James are currently starring opposite each other in sci-fi adaptation Divergent, and in a recent interview the pair opened up about seeing themselves in their characters. The pair play the roles of Beatrice Prior and Four, who fall in love over the course of the film, which Woodley says is more than just a teenage crush. Divergent is in cinemas now. i actually love that part in the movie "I don't wanna go too fast" and he says it's ok, I think it's so sweet, and is realistic, and also makes me fall in love with Four even more, because that shows his sensitive side in a masculine way. whereas if they just 'did it' after her first kiss, could've ruined the whole thing, their new relationship and the movie. (And Shai's impressions of Theo as Four, totally did sound Indian lol)

I love this interview! One of my favorites! Its so true what they said about how its not a cliché love story where they fall in love at first sight they just had respect for each other and that is where the relationship began and where it blossomed from. Also when Theo said this story is great for younger viewers because it shows that not fitting in doesn't neccesarily have to be a bad thing. Great interview!

i think one of my favourite things is how theo james can change his voice that much!!! and i love when he says the "stop playing with her" line right after 1:20 !!! its so awesome!!! i love the series and i just finished four and i just also finished allegiant and i am still totally heart broken and upset from the ending of allegiant!!!

haha I think that's what the fans just want to believe haha, perhaps I did for a while but maybe it was more of a working relationship or it just sizzled out. I hope they reunite and make another movie together, then we'll know :)

Ambzer Ambzer they were definitely together for a while. You can’t believe everything in the tabloids but it’s kinda telling when his wife goes anywhere if Shailene is present. They have really good chemistry you don’t often see between actors something you can’t fake. He is a heartthrob yeah be nice if they did another film together but it’s not gonna happen if he’s still married to Ruth Kearney
