Shane tell the truth,you & Bernard Hopkins jumped in the ring after Floyd just beat Marquez & begged for that a** whooping that he gave you,how are you going to blame that in Bernard, you're a grown a** man? When Floyd said he didn't want to talk to Larry Merchant because he never treat him fair that fight had absolutely nothing to do with you coming in the riing infact that wasn't even after the Marquez fight that was after the Victor Ortiz fight when Ortiz purposely headbutt Floyd in the mouth then lied & said that it was an accident & Floyd pulled him in & his momentum caused the headbutt, that was to completely separate flights and you had nothing to do with it...What are you talking about?Anyone don't remember go back & look @the ending of both flights & you will see that Shane is wrong 1000%...You said Floyd hasn't proven himself yet to fight with you when you were @135 & Floyd was @130,you are clearly remembering things wrong,go look @your own footage...

THE FACTS: In 1999 Shane Mosley asked Floyd Mayweather if he would come up to 135 to face him. Floyd said no. His excuse was that he wanted to break Joe Louis record for CONSECUTIVE title defenses at 130. The funny thing is that a few fights later he threw the record out the window. In 2000, once Mosley was gone from 135, Floyd Mayweather faced Emanuel Augustus at 135. So he said NO to Mosley at 135, but YES to Augustus? LOL After this happened they were never really close in weight. Floyd called out Mosley AND Oscar to come down to 147 in 2005 (they were at 160/154) and got BOTH in 2007. Shane Mosley had already fought Vargas twice in 06 and said lets do it early 07. Floyd faced Oscar but when it was Mosleys turn Floyd pretended to retire.

I think people forget the timelines. People talk as if the 2015 Mayweather ducked the 2000-2005 fighters. Remember that people were ducking Mayweather at those 130-135lb times. Just like people ducked Crawford, but now that he's hot, he's literally saying "I don't need to fight Boots, people didn't acknowledge me when I was more risk, so I deserve to choose my big fights". Well Mayweather eventually reserved that right because Floyd called out guys like Mosley and Cotto at the lower weights. It wasn't until they needed a big shot and win for their careers that they were willing to fight him. Cotto's people wanted him no whether near Mayweather at the time he was undefeated and coming up.

Off memory the only reason Floyd stepped in the ring with Mosley was due to Berto pulling out of the fight due to the natural disasters in Haiti. Floyd during that time said he wouldn't fight Mosley because Mosley was "busy" with Berto. So when Mosley needed a dance partner..Mayweather was in a situation where he had to fight Mosley. It paid off, but Mayweather never showed serious interest in fighting Shane Mosley..or many others when they were at their best, or close to.

-a dumb white boy babbling that monkey ass nonsense😂 Floyd called out Shane several times over a 10 yr period. Mosley ducked him until it was safe enough to be paid millions to fight him.

A young Shane and Mayweather would have been a better fight than what we had got. If Shane was able to crack Mayweather at a older age he definitely would have had the energy at a younger age to crack him more, I still think Mayweather would have found a way to win but it would have been a more entertaining fight.
@EDOGZ81810 ай бұрын
Granted, Floyd would lose an imaginary fight, in fact, Floyd loses ALL the imaginary fights and obviously wins all the real ones but, to put your comment in perspective, it would have been the Moseley that beat De La FishNets, dropping 2 whole divisions to face Pretty Boy, that same assassin that fought Gatti & Diego Corralles.

@@aaronjackson9385 Corralles was the mini Mike Tyson of the division, 33-0, 33 KO's and represents the last time Mayweather was ever the under dog....even against Moseley, Floyd was picked to win. Moseley wanted no parts of Floyd. That's why it took 5yrs to fight after Floyd called Moseley out.

So from what I can tell some of Shane’s ring wear and tear is showing. It was not Monzon’s record Floyd was referring to. Floyd himself said he wanted to break 25 title defenses in one weight class. That’s Joe Louis’ record. Also it was in TNT network. Shane was the commentator….. and Floyd didn’t call Shane out (who was at ringside). The tooth situation came after the 2nd Vargas fight.
