Many of us grew up with Shannen Doherty.
We loved seeing you in the early 1980s on Little House on the Prairie and Girls Just Want to Have Fun. In this part of our lives, we were having our first crushes and first kisses. We watched you say goodbye to Walnut Grove and hello to Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt.
We experienced the awkward transition from high school to college and then to young adult hood in the 1990s.
90210 and Charmed were there for us when we were experiencing young adult heart breaks and having our first children.
We never lost touch. We would often catch up when we saw you on Dancing with the Stars, Lifetime movies, and even a Hallmark Christmas special.
We were thrilled when we saw the reboot of BH90210. It felt like a high school reunion for us, too.
We often would Google to find out how you were doing. We were saddened to hear of your passing. But, many of us smiled when we thought Brenda & Dylan were back together again.
