I think that when you're at that age it's OK. But when people look back at let's say when she was 20 and he was... You know? I've gone out with younger guys and it doesn't bother me. But when you're still in you're early 20's it's bothersome to some... Lol

Yes 40 and 19 big age difference but your age doesnt matter that much. My ex is 42 and Im 34. My current relation which is the younger he is 28 and Im 34 I kinda like changing it up and hes great, fun, sex is amazing too cuase the connection,he has goals and most important no drama like my ex.

Man should be older. Younger guys are more malleable. An older man would be more established. With this dynamic, the roles are reversed. Plus he hasnt had enough life experience to run a family. She will be the authority in a relationship, which will ultimately be its demise.

I'm 27 currently, I have no issues with falling for a 21-33 year old. I'd go younger and older as well, say 18-40 or so. But I find that I've lived a fucked up life with a lot of terrible shit that I've faced, with that I carry a lot of baggage and pain. I wouldn't want to drag somebody down with that so I think I'd prefer to date someone with enough maturity and know-how to handle my situation+help me handle my situation; with age comes experience and hopefully wisdom so I think I'd like to be with someone my age or a little older who either already has their shit together or is willing to work with me to get our shit together. I just know that I'd be a burden on another person and it quite literally can't be totally helped(depression can be worked on, other medical conditions and such can't) so I don't want to drag somebody down before they hit their stride.

It depends on who you ask: a lot of more old-fashioned people don't see a problem because usually in traditional societies men of higher status play around in their 20's and get young wives in their old age because they are tired and they have the option due to finances If you ask some women, they will tell you no, thats gross, i dont like old men like my father, who wants to be fucking some old dude when youre still looking young and pretty.

Early twenties by law is an adult but I'm sure most people realize they weren't too far off from being a teenager. Its not fair to the younger person to be expected to act like a fully matured adult in a relationship that they're not ready for. Also older men tend to go for younger girls because they don't wanna grow up. They feel insecure and know that younger people are more likely to see past their inadequacies. *insert something about the sexualization of young girls*

Age gap differences are an issue for women when you consider fertility, producing offspring, and the fact that men generally prefer younger women for biological and other reasons. The woman in the video is mid-30s..still capable of producing healthy children, but if she was very late 30s to early 40s it would be much more of an issue. We all know about the few and rare woman having kids mid-40s and at age 50 (Janet Jackson), but that's neither realistic nor is it the experience of most women for those advanced ages.

No. Age gaps are really not weird at all. If people understood the concept of a relationship they'd realize that. Our society is so full of superficial, surface relationships based on criteria that lack depth and character. Age, body, looks, wealth.... That's why so many relationships fail so quickly. What people need to understand is that relationships are basically between two minds, two souls, two dconsciousness. And our consciousness has a different age than our physical age. Our mental age is built by the life we've seen, the experiences we've gone through. So when two souls connect, it doesn't have to mean their physical age has to be the same. It means their consciousness is compatible.

The reasoning behind this is that girls mature faster than boys. Back in the day people would marry at 16, 17, 18 so it mattered. But after the teens maturity is a matter of an individual's life experience. So a 30 year old woman can be equally mature as a 25 year old man or vice versa.

DAW MAN They mature fast AS CHILDREN. After the age of 20 or so, maturity starts to level out and it's all a matter of the individuals life experiences. Hence a 25 year old man can be more mature than a 30 year old woman.

Women tend to like older men due to experience and abundance of resources; that’s if the man planned his life in a responsible and practical manner. Men tend to be attracted to youth and fertility because its biologically inscribed in a mans brain to think that way; now I’m not saying a man won’t find an older woman attractive and won’t consider engaging in sexual intercourse, but he won’t be willing to settle down with her as willingly as he would with a woman between the ages of 18 and 28

I'm 36 and he's 28. Hands down, best dating experience I've had. Never dated this much younger. He looks older than his age and I look younger than mine. He's so open to my feedback and is the one who encouraged that I give it. He is always striving to be his best self and I love that as I too, am always looking at ways to improve myself. He's not afraid of change as older men in my experience tend to be stuck in their ways. Initially I was not going to even entertain his advances but he won me over. Glad he didn't give up; he is truly a good man.

I'm 25 and he's 20! I blew him off at first lol before even knowing his age just me wanting to be single lmbo, but he's honestly heaven sent. Taking our time now as well. Plot twist, even though we're currently at diff stages in terms of foundational building for our own futures... he can tend to be more mature than me.. I so grateful for him. He's so wise patient and kind, never felt this way. This video helped me a lot by hearing a perspective from a married couple. I really enjoyed seeing this and hearing your story. 🖤

@@bbydoll1222 Lol yes, we're doing good! Moving in with each other next year. Still taking our time but we are in synch now and our personal careers & life directions have naturally come in synch. I've graduated uni now and he has moved on to grad school. We're no longer long distance we are in the same state now by coincidence (he got accepted into the school in my home state which happens to be one of the top schools for engineering). So going with the flow is working very well (something I did not do in past relationships).

I have always been reluctant to get into relationships because a lot of the relationships I have seen have been extremely unhealthy in various ways. And it made me feel like I wasn’t the kind of person who could be in a relationship because I didn’t like the “traditional” kind of relationship. I didn’t want to be controlled. I didn’t want to treated like property. I didn’t want to lose my sense of self. But no one had told me that a relationship didn’t have to be that way. Watching your videos has showed me that there is a way to have a happy, healthy relationship that isn’t all about jealousy and possessiveness. And it’s slowly helping me become more excited to start dating and be more open to the idea of being in a relationship. So thank you so much for your videos

the funny thing is my mom is 6 yrs older than my father and they've been together for 35 yrs. my fiance is 6 years younger than me. it was never my intention to find someone younger than me but we got along really well when we met. we have a kid now and its been the best ever. we have been together for almost 2 yrs and our kid made our bond even better. sometimes we argue because of pride but its cool. shit happens.

But the thing is, it started as wanting a male in my life sure, but totally transgressed anyones actual perception of what reality was, even for US. Everyone has "issues" daddy mommy etc. (lame weird point out when ppl r like U HaVe DaDdY IsUEus) People are very scared of the things that seem abnormal or not of the norm. Doesnt mean its a bad thing.. in fact it can be the very opposite!

I’m 38 He is 31 We have been together for 7 years. We have a five year old. The best relationship I have ever been in. I have lived around the world and was working for myself when we met. He was living in his moms basement and working for her for minimum wages. Now he is the breadwinner supporting me staying home building my practice while homeschooling our babe. I legit didn’t know you were in your 30s much less Jared being in his late 20s until jubilee. Not that it matters.❤️❤️ I’ve never dated someone younger than myself. I’m not inherently opposed to it but because some would call me “grandma” I’m not on the same emotional level as most people my age. I’m more into what some would call “boring” things like budgeting and crocheting instead of going out lol. But in my experience dating older does not guarantee maturity or emotional intelligence.

I've never dated anyone younger than me until my current boyfriend (who is almost 5 years younger). It kinda started the way Shan's did - it was super casual and then we realised that we had fallen for each other. My guy is easily the kindest person I have been with. He deals with conflict better than any man I've ever dated, and I've dated men a decade older than me. He is caring and compassionate and SO romantic. He's definitely more fun and spontaneous than I am (I'm a lawyer who is every bit the stereotypical lawyer - never go out and make lists in my sleep), but he has never pushed me to do things that made me uncomfortable. I wouldn't say that it's something you need to seek out, but if it ever comes along, give it a shot. You could be pleasantly surprised.

I had to watch because my boyfriend and i have the same age gap as you. At first i thought it was weird until he told me "if you have a problem with it let me know now so i waste my time". After that convo i shut up and kept an open mind. He is immature with somethings but he is very mature financially unlike me who thinks money is meant to be spent on every thing my heart desire. I do not regret it, he has been my rock and I thank God for him.

My Dad is 20 years older than my Mom. And I know there are there is no universal rule. But I really wouldn't recomend it. My Dad is almost like a grandad at 70plus. My Mom is and feels really young at 50. They are walking in very different places of life. I mean, everyone should follow their heart, but as someone who lived it first hand, it might seem like a good idea now. BUT just look at a 80 year old compared to a 60 year old, they are at very very different time of their life, I think its just not sustainable in time.

About the age difference, society traditionally says the male "dominant" partner should be older. Older implies potentially wiser, stronger, more put together. Personally I think maturity comes with experience, not age. It also comes down to pride. I see that.

Good to know there are other beautiful, happy women and relationships like this out there too!! Gives me hope for the future. I wish we women would share about this more! Would be encouraging to hear and see other women in similar relationships more often and to normalize it. I once watched a KZfaq video talking about age gap relationships and every single one of them was exclusively the man being older and the female being younger! Being that you’re from Jamaica I want to ask you if you have an issue with a woman seeing a man with a substantial age difference. Like 30 years. Cause I got involved with someone who is that much younger and he’s Jamaican. He’s okay with age difference. He’s been involved before with a woman with that age difference. I have/ had more of a problem then him with it. Still not 100% comfortable. So I asked two Jamaican women ) one is my sister-in-law) abut this . Both saw nothing wrong with it. So I’m thinking maybe it’s not a big deal in JA . Or maybe it depends on who you talk to.

@@jahmallajaima Hey! As long as its legal and genuine love, it's a gift. It's pretty common to have age gaps. Yes, including older women with younger men and vice versa. that's pretty common here. I have noticed that once men start dating older women, they stick to dating older women which would explain why he's so comfortable with the age gap. Have a great day!

She was after he had been with the woman 30 years older then him. So it seems he has a big range.
