Жыл бұрынFYI, I was not happy with this edge after the video. The middle of the edge kept bothering me so I reset the bevel and failed couple more times. At the end, I got to a point where I was satisfied by changing the amount of pressure: Not too light, not too heavy, somewhere in the middle. Kept all the lap counts the same and changing the pressure led to a better result.

You are a true a true straight craftsman. I only visited because we share the 1st name. I am sticking to DE safety razors, but appreciate the Stirling reviews you also posted.

If it does not shave well it could be geometry. Watching the undercut and looking at the scratch pattern & bevel width under a loop would likely help determine an issue.

Lol the bevel is uneven because uou were not straight during honing. I made the same mistake! But you did 60 strokes on 5k so my question is it was a refresh or did you set the bevel with the 5 k? Excuse if I ask you but I made 12 strokes if bevel is set and 35 for a refresh. 60 or more if I want to set a bevel. Really set the bevel with the 5 k is very long!!!! But people like it!😮
