The correct way to do this is to NOT have a family in the first place, or at least not until you establish financial freedom. That's just going to increase costs and create additional burden, extract from what can be invested into a business. Your comment makes me think: Are you planning to work a 9-5 to keep a family? You will be stuck at a minimal income in this scenario, and likely your expense will exceed your income in a variety of time frames. A double income is barely scraping by in many places. When your wife leaves because you don't make enough, you will wish you went in another direction. In all reality, the government just runs off basic human needs, and with cost of housing on the increase, availability to find workers being quite easier than it is to find good employment...... The power lies in the the hands of the business owner / employer. In order to gain that power, you have to sacrifice more than just a 9-5 job in most cases.
