1 1/2 lbs. of hassa washed with lime
In a bowl add 1 tsp salt and water into the hassa and leave it until you are ready to cook
Blended ingredients
Add 7 stems of fine thyme
Add 8 headless green onions
Add 2 broad leaf thyme
Add 6 cloves of garlic
Add a little water and roughly blend the ingredients
Add to a bowl with
1 tsp garam masala
3 tsp ground geera/cumin
1 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 tbsp Indi curry powder
Add blended seasoning and mix to a paste
In a pan with 1 tbsp oil
Add curry paste
Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes
Add 1 tsp salt
Add 2 small onions finely chopped
Add a little bit of water
Add hassa and cook until all its natural water is evaporated
Add the milk of 1/2 coconut mixed with 2 1/2 cups water
Mix a little and cook covered for 8-10 minutes
Add green mangoes
Add sijan/moringa
Add ochro
Add mari wirrie peppers
Cook for another 5 minutes
Add cherry tomatoes
Cook until desire done or until mangoes are soft
Enjoy with rice or roti
