In short the guest meant - Internet itna sasta hogaya hai ki har jaa hill ga waar Indian kuch bhi thoda sa agar provocative dekhta hai, toh purey page par apni maa chdta rehta hai. And this is absolutely true. Instead of ignoring even the things that don’t matter, Indians ki jhund zabardasti ke issues bana deti hai. Cheap internet ne India ki social media ekdum barbaad kardi hain. Jo apne ghar se kabhi bahar nahi nikle, aaj woh puri duniya internet se dekh rahe hain aur un logon ko lagta hai ki hum sahi hai, baaki sab galat.

It is because western media realises that today's India will not dance to their tunes - it will have its own view point perspective and way of running things and doing things their way (keeping India in mind rather than the western perspective of how you should run a country or what is right or wrong for us.)

@vipashapmehta - you have a point there. However, my view is that mainstream media as well as academia in west and India became bastions of leftists. For leftists, anything of right wing and nationalistic ideology is anti-thesis. It is very interesting research topic to logically analyze why leftists gives in to Islamic ideology in west as well as in India. Leftists will not be spared in Islamic countries, so, we don't know what leftists behavior would be in Islamic countries. Nationalistic, right wing as well as centrist media in west and India does not castigate Modi. You have to read west's mainstream media's articles and coverage on right wing parties and leaders in these countries. Unfortunately, more than 80% of mainstream media and academia is held by leftists.

Why seek validation from global media or any media outlet. After all journalists are generally opinionated and their reporting is generally coloured by their own personal beliefs/allegiance. It is also worth noting that a bulk of journalists of these non Indian media outlets are either Indian citizens or Indian origin. There are a few condescending journalists of Indian descent in the UK who are anti-Modi because they are bitter about Right of centre government in the UK. Overall, my personal observation is that journalists are generally bitter about any government that is either right of centre or politically syncretic.

We always cared for the climate and cleanliness - it is them who used to take shower in 6th months and whole family in the same tub. These guys even had the resistance in washing hands.

It is not only the global media but huge number of local (U Tube) channels too spitting venom against PM Modi and his party BJP and BJP alliance NDA in this election time . They might even outnumber the nutral and channels supporting Modi. It is because more and more people started thinking that what Modi has been doing for the development of the nation , they can do it better even though what Modi has done for the country was simply unimaginable for them a few years ago !
