You don't understand or try to analysis things from national perspective. Whatever he has done was only for his name and fame. He gave away the permanent seat of UNSC to China repeatedly for two times. Is it for his own fame or India's interest? He didn't accept the offer of Nepal and Bhutan to merge with India. Was it for his own or national interest? When China annexed Tibbet Nehru supported China not Tibetan inspite Patel's admonition to Nehru. Why Nehru did not use Airforce against China during 1962 war, but ask for help from USA. When US helped and China fled away declaring ceasefire why did Nehru didn't reclaim the Oxsaichin, but remained silent. He didn't accept the offer of nuclear programme from JF Kenedy,USA during 1960 visit, why did nehru denied. Was it for the nation or for his own ego? Many more... He was just a bastard, nothing but. Kashmir was the sole creation of bastard nehru. Had Patel not there, the entire Kashmir would have gone to his brother Jinhas' Pakistan. Do you know anything about history or just worship Nehru as father?

Remember Nehru wasn't elected as PM, Sardar Patel was elected for PM post by then Congress committee, Gandhi intervene and forcefully changed it. One more points to be noted that Gandhi wasn't a member of Congress at that time. Now do you understand the conspiracy, I don't still don't understand for whome's behalf Mr. Gandhi was working.

And the biggest win was the BECA deal in october 202 We literally have just 9 military satellites China has 140 And US has got 239 Now we'll be able to have all the information from the 239 satellites under that deal which was a gigantic improvement in our military powess especially against CHINA Unlike in 1962 , we actually had a net profit after losing 2000 km² land area and now, just all set to wait till china attacks taiwan

He did nothing to stop and provide provision for the refugees. He failed to incorporate J&k in the political India. The partition was not based on anything except religion. Pakistan got their own land but India ( Hindu)didn’t have their own land . Then what is his contribution more than the other Congress leaders like s. Patel, kishnamenon, rajagopalachari and so on.

Nehru was no less visionary and a doer as a PM, concerned with foreign policies and more earned him the title, 'Shanti Doot'. Both were educated and did their job and gone. That's the jist of why the world couldn't care less for India during the last 60 odd years.The world respects you when you have self-respect and clarity in your approach. And that's why the current government's approach is just a rude shock for them. India could have been a fully developed nation decades ago with its resources,physical and intellectual capital. In my childhood, I witnessed Chacha Nehru's India. Along with my friends from Purnea Zilla school, we went with bouquets of flowers and biscuits to cheer our brave soldiers driving on the NH31 to reach the Northeern front to face the Chinese in 1962. These brave soldiers never came back. India suffered a humiliating defeat in the 1962 Indo-China War. The then Defence Minister VK Krishna Menon was persuaded to resign. I think Chacha Nehru should be solely held responsible for creating the hysteria of 'HINDI CHINI BHAI BHAI' and trusting the Chinese government.

Gandhiji was against partition & was in Noakhali for most parts when this activity was going on . Surely in 1947 Gandhiji at 77 yrs & Sardar Patel at 72 yrs with his health issues were not strong contenders for any Govt position esp in the long term. Anyways both were dead by 1950 & India's first formal elected Govt was constituted only in 1952.

How and who made Jawaharla Nehru the PM of Bharath? Now we need to question Gandhi who made Nehru the PM. Until a year ago I was with the knowledge that Nehur was the first elected PM. Truth is, out of 15 Congress Pradesh committees, 12 nominated Patel to be Congress president (and eventually first Indian PM) and 3 abstained. None of the Congress Pradesh committees wanted Nehru as their president. Nehru was not even a nominee to become the PM. Gandhi asked Congress working committee members to nominate Nehru (illegally) and asked Patel to withdraw his nomination. This was all in 1946 at the cusp of getting independence. Nehru was clear that he wouldn't play the second role to anyone else. Such was his notion of patriotism. Nehru was 'selected' and absolutely was not elected. Our democracy was born thoroughly undemocratically!

Nehru was the choice of British but Patel was the Choice of India. Nehru occupied the seat of PM with the help of Mountbatten. In return Nehru chosen Mountbatten as the first Governor General of India. Jinnah declined to accept Mountbatten as their Governor General. He said : “ I am the president of independent Pakistan “ . I don’t want any body above me “. Learn the courage of a leader from Jinnah. The Kashmir issue made so complicated by Nehru and Mount batten together.

While Hindus though a much larger population are divided on multiple levels - region, sects - sub sects, castes & what not. Ensuring most votes from them for one political party is very difficult. So it's best if they are kept divided & their votes fragmented across different political entities. Congress understood this very well & used it to their advantage

Congress at that time had aging Leaders & many had health issues . Nehru was the youngest & met all the criteria for the PM position. Infact even in 1950s there was nobody who could be considered for the PM position

While Patel gave first priority to the nation called India and its external and internal security, Nehru was a day dreamer who believed in Panchsheel and Non-aligned movement with which he can create a self image as apostle of Peace among the nations for himself and remain in history for ever. China proved him tobe utterly foolish and wrong through their attack on India and annexation of Indian territories Aksai Chin and some areas of Arunachal Pradesh. His utopian idea was idiotic among the nations who only respect the strong and self reliant economies. He not only did lot of damage to India through his wrong policies but created many more problems kept reserved for his predecessors to clear. Article 370 was such a stupid idea of Pandit ji to please Sheikh Abdulla family and his National Conference. Patel was more practical and pragmatic to deal with the problems faced by Independent India, but unfortunately he passed away much early leaving the ground open for Nehru and his family to manipulate.

@@eunicesophia5459Get your facts right. INC held an internal election pre 1947 which was easily won by Sardar Patel not Nehru. MK Gandhi sidelined Patel and put the pliant Nincompoop Nehru as the PM. India is still reeling from his backstabbing by MKG.
