My take on the story: It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child (the tallest boy, Dimash is tall!), saves the boy, who eventually became the Dictator. Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people of all religions are being led in peace, by Dimash’s son who was born in the movie)

Think about it: a 26-year-old spent three years of his short life (to age 29) creating this masterpiece! THAT is how committed Dimash is to peace for everyone! And world peace has long been an obsession. I believe he was 17 when he composed his song “War and Peace.”

Official Kazakhstan is currently not in conflict with Russia. Is a completely different state from Ukraine. Dimash carries the idea of peace very strongly within him. He is concerned with peace for all people. He has already spoken about this in various speeches. - By the way Dimash sang this live on stage. - Dimash did not always sing in a classical style. He sang pop, jazz, rap, folk ... He did almost all genres.

Russia put Kazakhstan through the meat grinder for decades. At the moment they don't really have a choice but be 'friendly' with them. Nothing in the region, nor the globe if we're honest, is separated from the destructive influence of Russia at the moment.

Dimash is a genius. Humble genius. Everyone talks about his great singing range, but few say what exactly that range is. That's 7.7 octaves. If he keeps training, we won't hear from him. Only devices will hear him... (You don't need to talk about politics if you don't understand it. Kazakhstan is not at war with Russia or Ukraine...))) Dimash doesn't sing about politics at all. Try to understand again.

If you wish to hear the highest note you have ever heard, then you should watch Dimash's unforgettable day at GAKKU concert. If you are unfamiliar with Dimash, prepare yourself to be amazed. Dimash possesses the most powerful voice on the planet. He was born May 1994 in Kazakhstan, his father being a pop singer and his mother an opera singer. At the age of five, he accompanied his mother to opera practice, whereupon a voice teacher heard his voice and took him under his wings. Dimash is extensively educated in music and is rumoured to have / getting a PhD in Music ; furthermore, he plays several instruments. He is an incredibly talented and smart young man, having performed songs in twelve different languages. Those incredible high notes are almost inconceivable for a male singer. Dimash is also a huge admirer of the late Michael Jackson, the king of pop.

Yes, Waldenburg is an allusion to Waldenberg, the small town where Hitler’s forces took their last stance and were defeated by the US forces. The inhabitants were all killed by the “good guys” bombing. The sequences with the travelers (in my opinion) represents the “travelers in life” (the spoken words in Kazakh say that all humans are mere travelers in life). You can recognize all the major religions: Islam (Qur’an, pilgrims wearing ihram), Christianity (cross, bell); Buddhism (om chant, robes), Judaism (tallit, shofar), etc seeking truth and peace. He spent three years working on this masterpiece, and released in September last year. So it wasn’t exactly directed at the Russian- Ukraine conflict but to wars in general.

Just in case anyone missed any references in the video, This is by far the best explanation I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. His soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

... saludos

Dimash worked 3 years for this clip, he does not target any war in particular but all wars. He started writing it well before the war in Ukraine, but when he released it, it was suddenly relevant. Dimash never talks politics, he is just a messenger of world peace. Kazakhstan is not at war with Russia, it is independent. When the Wagner group wanted to go through Kazakhstan to reach Ukraine, they refused. Belarus accepted... It touches Dimash because Ukraine, Russia and Belarus contain an impressive number of fans, normal that he is sad about what is happening to all these innocent people. Bonjour de France :)

In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰. He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aKllaMRk0tzKgA.html The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel, Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j7ZhpZyo0dHReIk.html And he's been singing it in all his concerts ever since. But always a little different. The three children in the beginning grow up. The leader is the older boy Piper who saved Dimash from drowning. The young girl grew up and became the wife of Dimash, she is the one giving birth. The little girl that Dimash is holding and screaming over is the daughter of the woman and Dimash. It also shows all the holy men from different religions walking up the mountain toward light. The baby born was the son of Dimash. At the end the child grows up and that is Dimash leading the religious leaders from then on.

Dimash takes his anti war message around the world in every concert and is also called upon to speak at various forums. If you want to hear why this is so important to him then you should watch his speech on The Ethics of Peace given at the Central Asian Media Forum, it's on his channel with English subtitles. Waldenburg was a city in Poland that was the last bastion of the German army, even knowing they had already lost the war, the German army bombed it to smithereens as a last act of vengeance before retreating. Dimash wrote both the music and the screenplay for this piece, spent 3 years of his life building this masterpiece and a huge amount of his own money filming it and getting his anti war message out to the world. It's not his only anti war song. As part of his master's degree in composition he also wrote War and Peace, the best version is probably the 2021 Digital concert performance.

This is all the magnificent Dimash. He spent 3 yrs and $7M to make it. He wrote the screenplay with all it's rich symbolism and the score in addition to his performance as an incredible actor and, of course his singing performance The small metal piece that appears when they are children, then as adults, when the older boy who saved him has gone over to the dark side, is a gnomon. It is the vertical part of a sundial. The small hole in it is used for the sun to shine through it so it can be used for navigation. The "piper's , which he bent, no longer has a hole. Here it represents a moral compass and finding your way to the light. The reference to Waldenberg is in reference to a town in Germany completely destroyed by the Allies after the WWII was really already over. The people in the desert represent people from all countries and religions who sacrificed themselves for peace abd brotherhood (including Dimash). During this section he basicallu sings the worlds religions. This was presented the day before his Almaty concert to a conference of the leaders of the world's great religions, including the Pope and as someone already mentioned, the Pope presented him with a medal. The ending statemet is the one released from the end of that conference. The next night Dimash sang it for the first time to a stunned 35,000 people at the Almaty concert. That is also not to be missed. It does allow you to concentrate a bit more on his voice and the lyrics. Try to watch the official one from the concert with it's better sound and drone footage rather than a fancam.

THEY SAID IT COULD NEVER BE DONE AGAIN ❗ too intricate, too intellectually and musically demanding after pianist composer, Franz Liszt composed the first Symphonic Tone Poem, a full symphony in diminished form in the early 1800s. Dimash stood on his shoulders, made history, and composed one, wrote a screenplay, acted it, sang it, put it in movie format and distributed it, bringing the international entertainment and music community to its knees ! Within weeks, LA came knocking and at their invitation to come to California, he spent 3 weeks in meetings with David Foster and leading music industry executives and artists. Much talk in industry journals of his 3 year groundbreaking effort and awards.

Hi Shawka! Thank you for your sincere reaction! To answer your question, yes that was a Shofar that you heard. When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😢 Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony and through his many charities. He is a Legend in the making and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. “People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony. I’M CHOSING LIFE!! 🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Much love from Canada 💖

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. Dimash takes his revenge on his former friend. The new baby represented a new innocent life beginning as the father dies. (And he does die) also the mother died in childbirth. The baby grew up to be a leader of men who seek peace. He wore his parents necklace, to always remember. One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else I noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

I’ve watched this many times. This is the first time I “disconnected” one piece from another. I always was looking for how it all linked together..but it doesn’t. These are different periods in time. One line is “We’re beyond Imagine”. That refers to John Lennon’s song. The man walking with all the religious representatives is Jesus, who dies. There’s the burning sign from Germany. The children are dressed in modern clothing. I don’t know if everyone else got this from the beginning…I didn’t. I was always trying to see how one thing flowed into another. Thank you for your comments. I will see this video differently now. Dimash is a genius. He never ceases to amaze me. Please watch the live performance in part three of the Stranger concert in Almaty. It will break your heart. Bev

👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he almost drowns. The three children are friends and their common external symbol is the necklace (gnonom). Both boys are in love with the girl. But she decides on 'Dimash'. The other boy feels hurt. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. It's war. The children are grown and the two boys have parted ways. "Dimash" fights as a soldier, while his heavily pregnant wife (the girl) with his daughter and his entire family stay in his house. Dimash's childhood friend has become the country's president/general and mercilessly follows his twisted ideology. As an antagonist (Piper - based on the “Pied Piper of Hamelin”), he carries the idea of a saving war: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We accompany everyone who is ready to start this new life. Anyone who defends themselves has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is my oyster and I want to give it to you. „War is the way to a united people!” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. He's struggling, he's confused, he's in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife and his daughter. When he finally comes home, he is horrified to find that his entire family is dead, his wife has disappeared and his little daughter is dead. The loss of his daughter almost drives him crazy. He wants revenge and an end to the horror. He shoots the general, his childhood friend and lifesaver... and is killed himself. The protagonist's wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who will give birth to a special child. The many pilgrim men are people of all religions who walk together the arduous path to the light, to a place of hope, truth and peace. One day, the protagonist's son grew up to be one of their leaders. The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen Script - Dimash Qudaibergen Music - Dimash Qudaibergen Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...) Directed by - Alina Veripia (She wrote the script and directed the MV "Okay") DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad) Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value. No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world. We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven. (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes) My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change? *** Pope Francis awarded a commemorative medal to Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen during the Pope's visit to the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions September 14-15, 2022 in Astana/Kazakhstan. On September 13, 2022, Dimash performed his new song 'The Story of One Sky' at the concert held for convention attendees. Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.

Dima worked on it for 3 years on this clip. It was very expensive. But despite the fact that I do not know English, everything is clear there. And the message and that his son leads the people in the end. He united it despite the differences. We all want peace and live. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He is Asian and at the same time successful in European popular music. He uses similar oriental singing in the song sinful passion. Although not at its full capacity. And in the song the wanderer. Not so masterly only here.

I consider this to be Dimash's, masterpiece so far. I'm sure he will compose more in the future, but this still gives me goosebumps and brings me to tears every time i see the scene where he finds his daughter. He believed his whole family were dead and wasn't aware his wife was giving birth to his son, and he went to kill his old friend who was the cause of the war thinking he had nothing left to live for 😪💔. In the end all 3 of the childhood friends died leaving the new born son to continue his father's fight for peace. What a heart-breaking story. Dimash's emotion-filled singing is just incredible and I agree that everybody should see this and understand the message behind it. Dimash hates war and speaks about it both in his concerts as well as attending seminars for peace. He is a true humanitarian who cares deeply for mankind. Thank you for your reaction 😊🙏❤

Great analysis! I watched a few reviews of this masterpiece and was mostly disappointed, because everyone focused on Dimash's voice and missed the message.... I think that Dimash's physical beauty, charm, incredible voice and multiple talents, are "the bait" that makes him so incredibly irresistible and lures us in...Then we discover the wisdom, the spiritual maturity, the light... There's a message in every one of his songs and this one is more urgent than past ones and perfectly clear: We are on the edge of the abyss, just look at the news...He's asking humanity to choose life through unity, compassion, understanding. The alternative is unthinkable... THE STORY: Two young boys, close friends, both in love with the same girl. The young Dimash is accidentally drowning and his friend saves him, then realizes that the girl is in love with Dimash...This devastates him. He grows up to be a man full of rage and hate, believing war (fighting) is the only way to win (since he lost the girl without a fight...) The two old friends are now enemies... Dimash visits his home one day, where he finds his little daughter dead...At the same time, his wife, (the childhood friend and love) is giving birth to a new child...This child (I think) will grow up to be a "savior", uniting people represented by the group walking, exhausted but together. They are choosing life.

There is a huge difference between art, politics and truth. Political agendas and humanity rarely coincide. Sadly this is truth. Thank God for artists!

I have heard that sound before in a Muslim call to prayer, but Dimash captures the pain that life can sometimes bring us in such a way that it reaches clear to our soul. To me, the gathering of the different religious leaders in the afterlife who walk toward the light with such a struggle says it all. No matter what faith, race, culture, gender, or age we are, we need to be united to pray for a peaceful path to world-wide peace. The necklace is a piece of a navigational compass that represents the fact that we all have a choice what direction to take. Love to all Dimash dears wherever you are. Stay safe my brothers and sisters. You are loved.

I strongly suggest to Dimash to have a Coach in pronouncing English words. You are an excellent singer and I have been one of your admirers since you were in the "I am a singer" in China. The singing group Forestella from S. Korea have a coach in diction to any language they sing. I strongly believe that you can do it.

Dimash's voice is well understood this far into his career but never ceases to amaze nonetheless. His cinematic creativity is something which really comes to the fore here. He is so talented that I am sure he is not of this planet. Why oh why is he not known in the west as a super star for the ages? It boogles the mind.

IHe san that you thouht was the instrument in the mouth!!! t took him 3 years so compose and he also wrote the script to the video. I so hope I can see it live sometime. If you dident gett some what happend...here are some of how I see it..Dimash was the little boy that was saved and the girl become Dimash wife and there dother that was killed of soldiers from the man that was the boy that saved Dimash. That man was angry and desperat becouse he loved the girl/woman to and she shoose Diamssh! So he started the war in Dimash town do to that. The women giving birth with Dimash and her son died during the birth. There son grow up in the end to unite every human and every religion to a peacefull and loving life. Dimash also sang John lennons "Imadgine" that the time is over for dream about peace we have to act. Think abouth wath we al can do to gett that result in the end. He dosent care of what religon you have back to the text in the end...everyone should acept outhers regrdles of skinn couler, religon or anything els that we today divides people!! Think on how we are actting to outhers, think before you say hurtfull words and try to understand them as a human insteed. Becouse we live on 1 earth and under 1 sky!!!! We are al the same as humans need love and understanding and also lett everyone have there religion. This is Dimash masterpeace and every human should see/hear this!! This is so needed today. He is brave to do this kind of MV/movie and he always stand for what he sayes and it is alwayes peace and love!!

Waldenburg appears to mean either of two things: 1. Most likely the reference is to the city chosen as the last stand of the Nazis In WWII in April 1945. The US bombed it into oblivion. (I note that someone else has commented that the Germans did the bombing. But all the sources I've seen, starting with Wikipedia but also following up their references, say the US did it.) 2. Another possibility is a concentration camp with the same name for Jewish officers who were mass executed in early 1945. It's possible Dimash was aware of both references and just means to cover the evil that is done by all sides given the excuses of war.
