Oh my gosh, Shawna. I'm no longer a beginner but I still like to watch your videos because you are so encouraging - and sometimes I need that. I was laughing at the "dumb designs" riff. This is me! I've been an artist most of my life. I love to be organized in my studio to save time in finding the supplies I need to do projects, but because the ideas are always flowing and I feel the need to start the idea while it's fresh in my mind the ADD circle begins and I tend to loose focus on the bigger side of picture of success. Daily tasks written down the night before sets me up for success the next day.

Interesting... Where I work part-time to help finance my Print on Demand activities. I noticed a customer who wears a Teeshirt with the words:- "Wierd Parents Build Character". I wonder how many permutations of this Wierd theme there actually are? There are so many people who talk about their successful’ Etsy shops and give out advice but I never see a link in the bio of their own Etsy shop? Where is your link please? Also you have not designed that cartoon character you have just selected it from the website - so what about copyright? A little confused?

Hi there! Thanks so much for watching the video and taking a minute to leave a comment! Yes!,,, you will notice many KZfaqrs sharing their Etsy journey don't share their shop names. I always so wished they would as I was so eager to learn from their example! I came to understand that this is because this would send a lot of traffic to the shop which would normally be a wonderful thing if that traffic were likely to be purchasing a shirt. But with a channel like this most of the traffic would be clicking around the store looking for examples instead of making a purchase. This would hurt the shops conversion rate (the percentage of people who click in and purchase) and as a result the shop could drop in ranking, be less visible in search results, and have decreased sales. Hope that all makes sense! But I am happy to share lots of my numbers, data, experiment findings, and strategies I use so that you can implement them in your own shop. You can use sites like Creative Fabrica or in this video I used Kittl AI which gives you permission to use their graphics for resale on physical products. I don't have a dedicated video on this just yet but C.U.Online and Cassiy Johnson have excellent dedicated videos. You might want to do a search for Creative Fabrica on their KZfaq channels to find the videos so you can brush up and know more about that specifically! Hope this helps!
