The Supreme Court has ruled that even the police have the right to enhance their natural senses. For example, a cop can use binoculars to view things they have a right to see, if the cop has a right to be where he or she is using the enhancing device.

I would say he is acting as a "grown-up" and being a father and a husband and an example of a citizen tired of bending on the laws that formed our great country. The videos are documentation and entertaining as well as informative. Now, you have every right to verbalize your opinion of Dustin's actings thanks to the very rights that he is exercising.

The grid tie thing is ridiculous. Someone who partially uses grid knows at times he must b off grid from production snd if he fails to take action and electric provider must locate his tie in and break the partial off grid man would psych got that action. Electrical workers have multimeters and can tell if lines r hot. Sell lines are fused regularly and current breakable. And for environmental reasons. As many persons as r capable should b encouraged and assisted to b off grid. And self sustaining

Actually, looking at this guys previous videos, it seems like he is the cause of many of these issues. I mean, they have CPS on their backs, the police are always telling them to do something correctly, and meanwhile he argues with them like he is innocent and did nothing wrong. I am sorry but if you want to be ignorant and hate the government, that´s your problem. But the CPS doesn´t visit anyone nor do they pick on people. And if you need a permit for something, and you do not have one, why do you think the government is wrong by saying you have to get a permit? I mean, come on, if you hate something so much it only makes you blind and look silly. I really don´t get all the people saying way to stick up for your rights while ignoring the way this adult man behaves. If he acted more maturely, and stopped arguing like a child, and did what was right, these problems wouldn´t exist. There are thousands of people homesteading in Alaska, and what, the government is just picking on him? Because the other homesteaders don´t seem to have even one problem. If you act like an ass of course you will be watched more closely. he is causing himself these problems, no one else is wrong. If you speed and get a ticket, it´s your fault, not the cops because he did not pull over someone else speeding. This guy needs to accept before he turns 80 years old that a person causes their own problems, problems don´t come looking for you.

I've watched a few of your videos and although you were in the right legally it comes across that your antagonizing and a bully. They have the right to refuse filming. I wasn't able to have myself or my kids filmed cause I was going through a nasty divorce and he was stalking us. So She may have a legit reason to refuse video taping. It's not all about you dude.

Yea right, they are looking for any place to get more money from you, get you in trouble with someone else so they can ticket you and charge you more money... I agree whole heartedly with you. If you are a public servant then you should be serving the public. On film, off film, standing on your head, whatever way your job requires you to. You don’t like dealing with the public??? WTF, well you are in the wrong line of work lady!

I've been thru my own share of crap with stuff too. Recording keeps every one responsible for their own..just as it should be. It's the public servants that think they wear a crown that ruins it for others. Recording is being adult and responsible about it. I wish more people would do it. If it's good enuf for cops, it's good enuf for you!

DL Indo- yes, I thought the same thing when I pulled up this video. I hear this from so many public service/ point of contact people when trying to comply with the law, get a passport, check out at a counter, etc. I get the rundown of their physical condition or their sad stories from home. Although I have compassion, I am a complete stranger who should not be the shoulder that these folks cry on. They are being paid to do a job; not use the public as their sounding board.

I tried to find you on Facebook to see if you have a page there. I wanted to share unlink with you about the judge who ruled we can take videos of public servants. And the article also mentioned that we can do it secretly, we don't even have to tell them we are recording them. There were people who were arrested for taking videos of police officers even though there is no law against it. So those people were treated unjustly. They make a pair of glasses that has a small camera in them and unless you were to look close you would not even see it. I'm considering getting a pair of them. If you have a place I can share that link it would be great I think you would like reading it.

It’s sooooo frustrating dealing with “PUBLIC SERVANTS”!!!! I’ve had the same issues here where we live. Rudeness beyond measure when we question their procedures and processes. They act as gods. It’s truly disgusting that we can’t live freely in a supposedly free society.

The way that you approached the "public servant" came across as purposely antagonistic. Bottom line. The elderly woman wasn't trying to create issues she's just trying to know her rights as well as yours. All do respect since I don't know you, you came across as arrogant and disrespectful, looking to "catch" someone doing something wrong and you set the tone for that interaction. Most public servants rarely if ever encounter people who film. Coming from your angle I can understand why you would want to record your stuff but this whole video did not come across as your video diary for your own personal documentation. Especially when you said "I'll just explain to our audience what's going on. This was for your "audience". "We'll let you guys decide". How nicely that was done. Yeah this whole thing was for your audience. Mission accomplished 👍 That's how it came across. Maybe, a different approach would have resulted in a different response. She was very respectful to you considering how you were treating her. When you approach any public service professional with a us/them mentality you set yourself up for issues and negativity. Tone is everything.

Wildheart Old Soul Tribe very well said.....sometimes people are just trying to do their job , just because they are tax payer funded doesn’t give anyone the right to be rude and make them feel uncomfortable in their workplace.....manners will get you a lot further than being snotty.....people truly will do a better job for you if you are nice to them, it’s human nature......try to be nice, assertive but nice , it will make life a lot better.

Yea a buddy and I had issues with the police a bit ago. I did lots of research to see if one of my buddies could own a pellet gun. Well there was a ruling on it stating that a firearm uses explosive means to propeller a projectile. Well someone found out he had it, and he was arrested for owning a firearm. Even though he asked the officer to look it up, and I even showed the officer. He was guilty in till proven innocent. Then had to go though hell to get his illegally confiscated property back. It was "misplaced" for over a week. No laws were broken. Was arrested Friday morning then released Monday morning. Someone was trying hard to get him, charged with a firearms charge. 2 district attourneys, a judge, and 3 sheriffs were called on the matter. The place was searched, nothing illegal was found, he was also given a ua and was clean. They made a mess of his house too.

My wife had to call the road department, I overheard how they were talking to her, it sounded like yelling and they were being very rude to her. The County zoning department told us we had to go in there and get a signature, so I knew by hearing how she talked to my wife that there would be a problem ... the predominant religion here is Mormon, which I am not , I am a born again Christian.
