Poker works like this you run hot and cold sometimes as long as you have a very good understanding of the game and catch the right cards with the right bets you win. Sometimes you play perfect and get sucked out on constantly.

Love reading the comments saying that she's not that good. Are you not paying attention to the times she bluffed other players off who had better hands? If you think she's not good, you're the fish that she's going to reel in next. "Oh man... I saw that video of her. I'm totally going to get all of her chips." Right, dude. My favorite move was when she offered to show her cards if they gave the dealer $25. Class move.

But I think its also the people who see the good cards that she landed on, and are ignoring what she did before she was given good cards. Bluffing off someone when you have a 5 high is a pretty damned good read.

She might have did it on purpose to "mess with him"...but she knows he's calling/betting that whole time with a flush or strong two pair...maybe even A9...so to act cool in that situation is all bad for her to do. She needs to look stressed to induce a call...not relaxed like "call me, whatever"

What I find strange? Is that no one thought maybe she gave an intentional hint, to just how strong she was. She was already a big winner. And about to be an even bigger one. She hit a slim out on the river. Myself, I think she gave him a chance to get away from it, albeit VERY subtlety. She did what she HAD to do, which was to shove. And if he didn't pick up on that? His fault. She'd proven her chops. She proven willing to shove, and go for all his chips. She's just too damn good, not to have known he MIGHT just pick up on that neon tell. Just my opinion. No way in hell she should EVER confirm jack, one way or the other. Great session.

I'm not sure about this poker players don't think about this at the table so often even if they're playing friends who are short on money... Just at work trying to win the most. I have the feeling that she felt like he was going to fold what he had and was trying anything to get a call from him... So even if it looks strong trying some reverse psychology as she felt he would fold Anyway, but yea it expedited his process for sure this time :)Just my opinion also though :))

I know her! Her name is Kendall and I've played against her for years at Lucky Chances in South San Francisco. Years ago she hit a bad beat jackpot playing a low limit game...and progressed from there.
