Ha ha - actually from my experience, many successful people use pen and paper as it's more connective to the brain. Whatever works for the person.

@@sethjared Totally fair. I have a few older people at my work who still use pen and paper as well. I guess my issue is speed(much faster typer) Finding things easier digitally My handwriting is atrocious and I will inevitably not be able to read what I wrote down the line.

Wait she got a remote digital marketing job as her first job ? Is that actually something that usually happens ? Or not ?
@sethjared

That is typically the case, yes. Go ahead and look at the other testimonials here and on my Instagram.

I made $48,000 at Burger King. I would have stayed in college.

Hey friend, thanks for the comment. I'd like some more context. First off, I'm pretty sure you didn't start out at $48K at Burger Kind, you were likely some kind of manager. How long did that take? This is Nicole's first job ever, and the majority of my students level up to $60,000 a year within 1 year, and $70K-$80K within 2 to 3 years. I imagine you could get up to that salary if you became a district manager at Burger Kind, but also not sure what the work life balance is like, or how many hours you have to put in, how many positions are open etc. Plus Nicole has a remote job, she doesn't have to spend all day in a restaurant, office, etc. Second, as she mentioned in the interview, her friend studying marketing didn't learn anything related to job skills. So even if Nicole had stuck with her degree, she'd be building staggering amounts of debt and unlikely to get a relevant job after graduation. In fact, did you know most college graduates end up working in sales, customer service, or office jobs? That can also include restaurant jobs. I was working in restaurants with my degree from NYU for years, and many of my co-workers were people with Master's Degrees, etc. because we could make more money from tips during a busy night shift than any kind of job we could find with our degrees. Unless you are majoring in something practical like accounting or engineering, it doesn't make much sense.
