BEAUTIFUL house and I would have had my house with NO upstairs and NO stairs too! Who the heck wants to go upstairs anyway? I love ❤️ EVERYTHING about this place and the stained glass dolphins and hanging crystals are Perfect!!!!!

I’ve watched many many of your videos and I don’t think I’ve seen a more satisfied person with their home and placement of their home than this one. It made MY heart happy for her to be so happy and comfortable in her tiny. Very nice home and nice location. Thanks for sharing

Her set up is perfect for anyone who's getting up in age. I would just have a small stand up washer/dryer set in the bathroom though.

She will be putting together a deck. If it is covered, she can make a laundry closet outside, if she wants to.

What a lovely person Dorothy is❣️ She's got just enough space to visit with friends, display her favorite pieces, and live a comfortable life. It's perfect! Time savings from less maintenance, and no mortgage gives financial freedom, so she has the $ and time to explore the rest of the world, and build a tiny yard that is a bit of paradise, just like her beautiful, functional home. 😊

Dorothy’s home tour totally warmed my heart. As an older adult, it really got me to thinking about what’s next and the possibilities could be. Love she took out the steps. Having cared for my elderly grandmother in a tiny home the same exact size as the one in this video, I am concerned about how small this bathroom is in regards to needing assistance with toileting and bathing in the future. The bathroom of the tiny home where I cared for my grandmother had much more open area between the toilet, sink and walk-in shower in which I could maneuver myself, her walker, etc as needed. Please think of this when designing tiny homes where you hope to be able to "age in place". Also always assume you will need to use a walker in the future, and as such design hallways, doorways and especially the bathroom with that in mind. Not doing so may make it so that you cannot stay living in your home for as long as you had hoped to.

You can contact them to ask for a quote, since it is different from the standard model on their website. A lot of people have asked how to fit in a 48" shower or tub, this is perfect.

@vilmaestrada945 They have a website with prices listed. Prices vary depending on accessories so they give a price spread, but you get the idea of a ballpark price. Just search Incredible Tiny Homes and their website will come up.

It's wonderful! I know that I would enjoy this type of community, it's like being on a cruise ship except on land. I wish there were communities like this in the far west, or near the North Carolina coast. (I know there's one big place in NC, but it's all the way to the east of the state, too far away from my family who live on the coast.)

I would love to know more about it and the cost and I'm very interested. I was hoping to be more warmer spot closer to Florida than Tennessee. I know the weather can be very cold and ice rain. I grew up in louisville , but I have to see the positive about it.

Lovely home and Dorothy is a treasure. Living tiny is definitely not for everyone. Before making the plunge just try restricting yourself to your bedroom and kitchen and see if you can whittle your possessions to fit comfortably. I live in an 864 sq. ft. prairie ranch house and watch tiny videos to get small space decorating ideas.

not having a sleeping loft really looks like the way to go. The larger bathroom and more open interior is great and no bending down when upstairs.

I love her! Beautiful purple amethyst under her TV, and I don’t use microwaves either! I can’t believe there is a community like this! SO affordable! There is NO WAY that we can get anything like this in Canada. Even tiny homes cost a lot, and definitely not anywhere close to $200/rent per month and utilities for $25…. Wow just wow.

I really love that she doesn't have a loft bedroom area. That's nice to see and to see how she arranged her whole house. It is absolutely gorgeous and her joy at being in her "forever home" was really lovely to hear about. Awesome video!

I love your tiny home. Downstairs bedroom is a must when you are of a retirement age. No benefit to sleep in a low ceilinged loft with tiny steps or ladder to climb up and down.
