Yep. Einstein (as we all know) was by far one of the (if not the) smartest guy in the world, also having one of the highest IQs in record. He was teaching a class with very complex equations, the class started laughing. One of the students pointed out he got a multiplication wrong (it was like 9 x 10 or something of the sort). He said, "I was able to do 9 other multiplication problems correctly in my head without anyone pointing out how incredible that is, but you only focus on the one problem I got wrong." The students stayed quiet. A very important lesson, no matter how far you can reach a talent, somebody will only put their energy into what you failed at instead of what you succeeded at.

You know how many times people that had watched this movie called me Akeelah. I wear glasses, and my face is the same shape as hers, so people were like "You remind me of the girl from the spelling bee movie". It got worse when I actually won a Spelling bee that was held for my classroom. Either way, I had fun doing it, and I don't think I mind it. It is a funny story.

At any given time there will always be words that anyone can't spell... Yet. It doesn't mean she isn't smart, it means she's found a new limit and is pushing it away by having just learnt it, I can't say the same for those who mock her. I too am a spelling bee champion, as I won a bike 🚲 with the word mongoose on it when I was 8 or 9, but I didn't think 🤔 I knew all words, I just knew how to spell some hard and common words, enough to impress most people, but I knew that there will always be other unknown words, ones that will make you say "hmm, what's that" or "what's that mean". Don't let this lower your confidence or give you an excess of pride know that you are literally pushing boundaries by each new word you learn to spell. Be proud of yourself. 😁

This literslly reminds me of one of einsteins stories. He wrote the 9th mutliplication. He wrote from 1-9x9 and wrote all the answer correctly but when he reached 9x10 he said 89 i think. Everybody laughed at him. Althought he got all the mutliplications correct other than one the class chose to laugh at him. Sad but its the true reality

See this is a proof of how the Brain is focusing on the last thing; she said many hard word very good and no one congratulated her, she did a mistake and now she is a failure. It is like if I was a bully to someone and there is always this person watching, and after years of me saying mean things I say just a “thanks” people will thought “oh she is not that mean finally! See!?”

Man, if I was him I would’ve immediately pointed out that not only did she win the spelling bee, she also nailed several challenging words that weren’t even on the list and only just barely missed “pulchritude” because that [k] sound midway through could have been a c OR a ch by sound alone. She merely lost a coin flip on a word that even some adults probably never heard of. I’m a teacher and I myself have to go look up that word mow as I’ve never heard it before.
