SHE IS BACK! House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 3 REACTION! "The Burning Mill"

Watch our group reaction to House of the Dragon 2x3 "The Burning Mill"! See our thoughts and emotions as we dive into the latest episode of this epic series. Although we don't think it's as good as the last 2 episodes, we still think this was very enjoyable and moved many pieces forward.. it is a great set up for the upcoming episode 4, where the dragons will finally go to battle!
For context, a few of us are behind and haven't seen the whole of season 1, due to the dissapointment caused by game of thrones, some refused to watch it to the end..So I have now forced them to sit down and watch season 2 with those of us who have not given up on the franchise..and I call it a success, as now everyone is invested and slowly but surely catching up on season 1, but some details are still not very clear to them.
For whatever reason..Some are not enjoying season 1 nearly as much as season 2.
I Would agree that season 2 is better so far, what do you think?

Nahh. It is likeky Jon . It is heavily implied he warged into ghost and will be brought back perhaps after melisandre sacrifices Stanises daughter..

@@Alex-bz8lj I've only read parts, know somewhat about his story and where he ends up, But the show does portray things differently..I hope he is given some more cool scenes and not made to look like a total chump, but still..Aemond is the brother I look forward to seeing more for sure. hah

This episode really shows that Aegon has no business being king. He's just so awful. Alicent realizing that she made a mistake about what Viserys was talking about in his final moments was so satisfying. I hope now Rhaenyra will be spurred into going to war now. That's the only way she will get her throne back.

Yeah, and Otto told Aegon as much in the last episode too! He knew very well, but pushed for Aegon anyway, to better his family position.. Alicent just heard what she wanted to hear, and I like that they added this scene so she can realise how wrong she was before it all goes crashing down..The war is now a fact, and we will see many good people die due to it..but such is life.. rhaenrya and aegon are both horrible queen and king. So far i dont even think he is a bad king he is trying to do good with the people of kingslanding but now that it is war he is trying to act fast to give the greens an advantage. While rhaenrya is being viserys like not acting fast enough and letting the greens build strength.

@@etc8217 why is she a bad queen, please explaine?! Aegon just killed a hundred ratcatchers, just because he wasn't smart enough to keep blood alive a little bit longer, to find cheese....rhaenyra, so far what we've seen from her as a ruler, would never kill hundrets of innocent people, that have nothing to do with the war and is the only one who constantly doesn't want to plunge the realm into war. Being a good ruler is more then only being good at fighting a war. It's even more about how you rule over the small folk and without the war, if she would have gotten the chance to rule in peace, she would have been a really good queen, better than any of the greens could ever be, they are to busy abusing each other emotionally and making their own relationships worse!!! But hey if your only reason, that aegon is not a bad king is, because he makes fast moves and doesn't care about how many people would die in the process, Ser Arryk, the brackens, the ratcatchers... he didn't care for aaaany of them and they were all on his side, then congrats your right he is with that logic soo much better :)

I’m always impressed that you guys can make real jokes and witticisms in English- I find it difficult to do that in my second language, French.

Oh yeah it can be a challenge as we don't even use the same alphabet and our 1st language is very different! Buut.. As weird as this may sound, gaming has helped us quite a bit on this front.. We've been playing video games with foreigners since childhood, speaking in english..we got used to speaking the language freely..for the most part.. Also, some of us worked in foreign companies where we had to speak english fairly often.. Btw: It's nice to see a French person here , I met a french guy here not too long ago, real nice guy, and a beautiful country and culture! Thanks for reaching out, it's always a pleasure to talk!

Thanks for explaining! But actually I’m an American who has studied French for years as a second language. But I don’t have the kind of fluency to make many successful jokes. I remember each time I made a French person laugh because it happened so rarely. , which is why you guys impressed me.

Understand the hardships for the guy trying to explain… well everything lol. But, maybe the prophecy was lost before GoT times began, so they winged it and just so conveniently that dagger was involved in the solution…

I was almost going to sub… but at the end of this vid, you’re watching a trailer to the next episode???? The whole point of your channel is to react, not get glimpses of what’s to come. You need to watch some of the successful reactors that don’t even watch trailers before seasons… just sayin to help yas

Haha, we ended up not watching it for this reason :D Hence why you don't see the video.. But yes, For trailers, we like to watch and discuss those for games talking more about the industry etc. Cheers for the comment through, I am glad you enjoyed this at least! :)
