Sameee! I quit Instagram too about a year ago. I was losing my touch with creativity trying to keep up with insta algorithm. I have been focusing just on KZfaq for the past year. I had 3k subs when I left insta and now have close to 25k subs. Might still be a small number for many but it’s significant for me ❤

Same! I went from 15.4k to 15.5k followers on Instagram last year, and in the same time period I went from 1k to 6k subs on KZfaq. Instagram used to be great! Now they have killed their golden house and to be honest, I’m here for the spectacle 😂 I am grateful, but also I’ve been so frustrated at invalid strikes, the thing not working etc… Can’t deny that it was great while it lasted. I appreciate all the lovely people I’ve met there ❤

I already have a successful but stressful career and don't need another job. I am doing KZfaq simply because I find it very therapeutic to get in touch with my creativity. I truly believe that as long as we love creating and continue to upload, soon or later it will hit. Quantity will help level up your skills to improve your quality. Good luck!

I'm coming at this from the other perspective of "should I BE on instagram?" as a KZfaqr who's only just got monetised and seeing all other youtubers also on IG, I thought is this what I need to do to take youtube to the next level? But seeing this just validates to me what I WANT to do, which is focus entirely on youtube, which is the platform I love. Thanks for this vid!

Been my same strategy. Post every two weeks and made it monetisation in under three years. I refuse to lack it stress me out despite working a full time job take up most of my free time.

Omg same!! I deleted my Instagram because I was never really into it. youtube always felt natural while instagram felt forced. A lot of my audience is constantly asking me if I have an Instagram but it just doesn’t feel right. It’s really hard though because literally all KZfaqrs are on Ig and people expect you to be on Ig.

I recently deleted Instagram because there was ZERO growth happening and was more time and energy than it was worth. It was actually more of a distraction. The only other social media I have is Facebook and that's because I use it for my business group.

I started KZfaq a while back just posting Vlogs, but after watching Millie’s videos, I am really trying to do more research based videos. It was because of her videos that I found out what I really wanted to focus on, family travel videos, both Vlogs and research based content. I am really proud if what I am currently working on to grow on KZfaq. My first “research-based content” videos is going up in a few more weeks and I am really happy.

Such a great episode with lot of gold nuggets! I’ve been struggling to get to that next level (in both KZfaq growth and product sales). It’s a wake up call for me to focus 100% on what’s working and ditch the things that aren’t (IG is definitely not working for me!) ***I also try to set a time limit on working, like being done by 7:30 and hanging out with my wife.

I live in Australia and I thought that tiktok should be my focus coz that's where everyone seems to be. But after realising that Tiktok does not have a creator fund here, I decided to start a youtube channel. At the same time, I saw other creators that inspired me to start YT. Posted my first video yesterday ;) This is my day 2 on KZfaq. I know it will be a long road, but i'm hopeful.

@user-wi7ne5db7w Since he's doing firearms related content IG 100% is going to limit his account. It's better for their advertising system and ideology for social responsibility. KZfaq is significantly more direct with how they handle firearms content. You need a good strategy to do well here, but it's possible.
