Im fortunate that people in the gym I go to are typically quite kind and approachable. Like if you workout around the same group of people eventually you naturally ask their name and want to get to know them. But I'd never pull that shit if I lived in like LA; I'd ask a girl her name and suddenly im being cancelled on Twitter and my entire life and career is ruined. People are incredibly detached from reality now, as if the only reason anyone approaches anyone anymore is to try to have sex or be confrontational.

There is an explosion going on right now of copycat gym-Karens, pretending to be harassed by innocent men that either interacted politely with them or happened to look in the general direction to the area where the Karen was recording her video. Remember, attention (good or bad) is like oxygen to them and they will do anything to get it. If you see one using her phone to record a video, report her to the manager, as most gyms have policies that forbid making such recordings. Tell the manager that you feel unsafe with her recording video where you could appear and could be uploaded to social media sites/apps. Also, mention that you do not consent to being recorded, and ask for her membership to be revoked for violation of the gym's policy. Writing an email to the gym's management, including the date and time of the event, would also create a digital trail of the incident in case she doesn't get suspended for that specific infraction.

There’s this girl that I know, who is a friend of a friend of a friend. She told my girlfriend once that she purposefully flaunts her body around guys who appear to be married or in relationships, like at the beach, for example. When I'm at the gym, someone recording will draw attention, more so then an attractive woman. As a man, a married one, I can say it's hard not to glance at a beautiful woman, but there is glancing and then there is looking, different things entirely. These men seemed to glance, but it could have been the camera, it could have been because she was attractive, or it could have been genuinely admiring her build. People who workout tend to look at each other. I admire women in shoe and I dont mean in a sexual manner either, it's inspiring.

This really remind a time when I was just about 15 or 14 just starting my fitness journey. I was traveling with my family I didn’t want just lose my progress, so I went to a hotel gym. I had personal trainer who I was close to, he told me whenever I was traveling take a pic of the gym so he can help me figure out, since again I was new in starting going to the gym. There was some king of woman, I think she was a model around there. So I was taking pics of the gym trying to avoid taking pics of people then she just yelled at me the same as that chick at the video she started saying you can’t take a picture at the gym then she started yelling you can take a picture at the gym. I didn’t reply or said anything to her I just went back to the gym avoiding her or come eye contact. But, my day wasn’t completely bad, since thankfully when I was starting out the weights back to the place the gym employee just started talked to me and just comforted me

Question: Is her channel monetized? Every Gym needs to pass a simple rule. NO selfies. And acknowledge that wearing form fitting clothing in the Gym is INVITING others to look all they want.

Ahhh a fitness Karen. God forbid you look at someone in the gym. Shouldn't we be able to appreciate others physiques and progress without being in fear of being outed as a pervert?!? Glad nobody at my gym is like this, people dress skimpy as hell, boobs, butts, biceps and all are hanging out all the time. Dudes and Chicks stripping down to pose in bikini's and trunks and everyone just goes on about their business and at most gives folks positive comments.

She broke a ton of social boundaries by yelling at him at the gym and giving him attitude. He had every right to do what he did even if it was (I admit this) an overreaction.

If they have some sort of beef from him being a creep in the past I can sort of understand her position, but there’s nothing to prove that and that still was not the best way to go about it.

She called him out so fast that it's obvious she was looking for this. Also the length of time it took to remove her top shows she's waiting to be looked at. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a quick glance. He didn't stare or act in a way that was creepy. She needed to be held accountable.

Most gyms don’t even allow filming. I go to a popular gym chain and filming is banned. I’m always uncomfortable when people do because they may have good intentions (filming a lift) but it could be nefarious, hence gyms ban it.
