As I was watching you build this I was thinking it's too bad you didn't take some before shots after you made your foundation and made wallpaper of your outside scenery on your inside walls and you probably have already finished doing your siding but what if you measure the height from the ground to the bottom of your bored and screwed a 2X4 acting as a kickstand to hold your board up while you nailed it in

No framing nail gun today? Can't wait till you do the roof sheathing I want to see how you do it. I did mine so sketchy with alot of climbing gear foe safety. I love a mini grigri so you can lower yourself easy once you fall lol. I got the roof sheathing on and tarped it, already got snow up here. Entire outside is tyveked and I got a door installed. 50 days of work so far.

You need a cheat board bro. Figure the lower line of the board & nail in a scrap piece of wood to rest the board on (ie your extra set of hands) - That way it’ll be level and easier to secure

Great job as usual. I'm scrolling trying to find a way to repair one of my outer walls on my cabin. T1 11 has a couple of bubbles in it with cracks. Water is getting in and separated top outer layer. Not noticeable inside. Tell me what to do! Lol
@WoodnessGoodness6 ай бұрын
Haha so I actually just fixed some of my old t111 siding by drilling a small hole at the top of the bubble, and injecting some epoxy resin in it. I pressed it in a little but it filled the void and stopped it from getting bigger. Seems to have done the trick.

Sorry about your Nana Graeme, I had a strong bond with my Nana too I miss her all the time, but so thankful for the lessons she taught me and the memories she gifted me, she wouldn’t get an electric stove so we had the best food baked in a wood stove ever. As for the nogs aka noggins we also call your skull your noggin, so use your noggin & whack a base board to balance the sheets on, it’ll save your fingers, oh and how long until you realised you drew on your face with the nikko pen. 😂 Shell from down under mate 🇦🇺
