Zero issue with the score line, just an issue with the lack of technical quality. A lot of people don’t like non-league football for the same reason and choose not to watch it. But it’s ok to say that.

Eh…? What are you on about? Technical quality? Did you watch the recent England u19 game? It was atrocious, players running around like headless chickens and nerves meant every touch they took was pants. Did you watch the game? The reverse pass by Hemp to Kirby for Whites second.. Walsh dominating the midfield and mopping everything up and ticking things over the whole game. You have to look at it like racing. Formula 1 cars or Minis, power and speed are only one part of it. The idea that women wouldn’t beat men at football. Trust me this womens team would beat a rabble of my mates thrown together, hands down.

It’s a lack of understanding of what’s going on in a football game if you think the womens teams are still poor. I agree 10-15 years ago the standard was very poor but since 2015 I have noticed the games are actually entertaining if you enjoy football. Maybe I just like football in a different way to you but it’s just abit childish to focus on the speed and power aspects, maybe an English problem..? Players like Keown saying things like “Battle Cry” may be the reason they never won anything.. cos the other teams were playing football not trying to fight a war. Prick. Pass and move. John Barnes knows it all.

I didn't get her point. The reason we dislike it is because we HAVE watched and we didn't like women's football. We are therefore not watching it again. But she doesn't seem to get that.

Lots of Rangers fans have chucked following Scotland but they haven't started following England instead! But I know the guy you mean and he refers to England as 'us' and 'we'. Sounds mental does it not? Tbf there are a lot of Gers fans that prefer England to Scotland. No one finds it odd when Scots are bigger fans of Ireland than Scotland. so I guess it's sort of the same?

Have to agree with everything Jordan says on this, good for them and for the people who enjoy it but its not something I find enjoyable or worth watching, even the atmosphere is different as its mainly kids screaming! As I said tho good luck to them hope they do well

Play on smaller pitches with smaller goals, like boys U12 games to even it up. No point in playing on men size pitches, same way they probably have smaller portions at dinner.

To be honest, simon is spot on. If he doesnt watch it why should he feel like he should be forced to? tbh the quality is absolutely horrendous. I play on sundays and the skill gap isnt much different. Brazil v Germany was not a one off, germany showed up and just destroyed a terrible brazilian defense and not a great team. Womens football really needs to up its quality, there is zero physicality in it, no coordination in terms of defending. a top team shouldnt be getting nailed 6-0 at half time

I wanted to take my daughter to a match in Manchester, went on to book tickets but found out its at Cities academy ground. No chance am i paying £20 to go to the academy ground. They have missed the mark by talking it up and then hosting at third rate stadia. "if you build it they will come"

so you stopped your daughter from having a nice day out and possibly a once in a lifetime experience (woman’s euro’s being hosted in uk) because you didn’t like the stadium? good god i understand money doesn’t grow on trees but you talk as if it was £200. who cares where it’s played as long as you both enjoy the game and get a good day out of it🤦‍♂️😂

also there are other venues that are more than fine..wembley, old trafford, st mary’s, brammal lane. the quality of football isn’t great imo but if it’s for your daughter then using that one venue as an excuse not to go is poor🤣

The thinking is they don't want a few hundred people in a massive premier ground, it looks bad, apart from the England games the grounds have looked pretty sparse of crowds, I agree with you though on paying money to watch a game at a academy ground, one national team complained about the grounds they were playing in, saying it was disrespectful, but a massive ground with hardly any fans is bad optics.

If the woman's game wants more credibility, there can't be scores like that. They should make the competition only eight teams if there are only 8 good teams, if there's only four good teams there should be only 4 teams. Norway clearly are not a good side, at all.

The women's group stages are more like the men's qualifying stages which is understandable given the fact the standard isn't as good. But it's improving and when there's as much interest and money in the women's game as there is in the men's, it will be at a whole new level. When the women play well, it is a sight to watch. Some of the France play for example has been outstanding. It's really not that bad at all. Yes there's room for improvement but I enjoy watching it.

@@qxqp they’ve subsidised the females game for years it’ll never change. This is the pinnacle of it. Hence cut funding to it and put it to grassroots help the next generation of boys and girls to get better

The women's game has a bright future but you can't use the standard of the well developed men's game which has been organized for near 150 yrs now & compare it to the Lady's game..... you must compare the women's game today w/ the women's game in 2000 & in 1980..... Some European countries are more organized then others but 20 yrs ago none were..... we're now seeing Germany, France, Sweden, England close the gap w/ the Americans

@@jimmelton5846 I'm talking about all teams not just Liverpool who were great in the 70s and 80s, but also teams like Villa Forest Everton and Leeds who won the last division one in 92 are never mentioned, the premier league is fantastic, the most entertaining league in the world but sometimes on TV especially Sky I wish they would occasionally acknowledge that football began a long long time before the premier league was even though of.

Cowardly how they've not even attempted to address the BBC statement, immediately after this game, that there is a lack of diversity on the England team. How many nations in the world TV networks would have a foreign pundit commenting on the ethnicity of players after they've emphatically won a match. For large parts of the USA Women's domination of the game, they've not had a player of "colour" on their starting 11. They've only had one player of visible "colour" make their starting 11 in the last five years. There is a "lack of diversity" in numerous fields of sports such as the GB 100m relay team. Maybe, just maybe, they are the present best identified talent to represent GB and England at the time. It's not like the FA is adverse to selecting players of "colour". I believe in the last Euros England started 4 players of "colour". There's certainly a "lack of diversity" in the BBC top earners starting eleven. There isn't a single person of "colour" there and perhaps the BBC should investigate this before making spurious comments and race baiting. Funny how the woke BBC made spurious comments of misogyny and claimed men were being paid more and when they calculated the mean, hours worked and so forth, they discovered the BBC had been discriminating against their make employees, as had Google.

You must enjoy it for what it is..... if you compare Women's Football to the men's game you will be terribly disappointed b/c the skill level is lower than U17 Boys but it's enjoyable for what it is..... some will never be able to separate the two & will never enjoy Women's Football & I completely respect that..... we are entitled to our opinions..... just don't post those opinions on social media or your entire life gets tipped over🤣🤣

Womens game with mens game is incomparable at the top level, its not just the score lines its the level they play at or the quality on show....for that reason the womens game will always be inferior but ppl should just enjoy it for what it is and if you don't as I agree with Jordans reasons then don't
