I remember this being filmed, it took them hours, they filmed it in our backyard. We lived at the naval weapon station in seal beach, most of the people you see in the video were actual service and family members. It was decorated beautifully, my dad was deployed at the time and made the song memorable, my dad recently returned from another tour and it came to my mind. All of those out there who miss your loved ones, i know how hard it is, keep them in your prayers and hope they come home soon.

This song was so important to us Army wives/husbands who's spouses were overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq, I couldn't help but cry while fearing the worse every time it played. There were plenty of songs for the troops and for the family, but this one was for us spouses.

We're almost 7 months in to the deployment and every day I miss him even more. Praying for all of our soldiers there and for the military families here who keep them strong & allow them to focus on their task. Thank you all for your service.

My soldier has been gone for 2 months. We have 2 kids and 1 on the way while he is gone. This has been by far the hardest thing i have had to deal with. Our 4 year old daughter talks on the phone to dad, and she asks him to come home to us, cuz mommys eyes wont stop hurting. If i could only explain to her that its my heart inside that aches for her daddy to be with us and safe at home. This song explains what a soldiers spouce goes through. love it!

The hardest moment was when he went over to Afghanistan but he's back now and he's safe. He and I both are honored to serve this beautiful country.
