how can you have a dilema ? PS3 and Xbox 360 had good exclusive games each, but for the XboxOne/PS4 generation, PS4 exclusive games were so much better. PS and Xbox are basically the same consoles, only which has the best games matter

It was a big decision back then, the one you picked you probably were going to commit and build your game library. Now in the next gen people are less likely to switch to a new platform since they have all their games already!

@@LexT5405 originally I wanted the PS4, but it wasn’t in stock and I couldn’t wait so I went with the Xbox one. A mistake to me as PS4 was the better console and the (cheaper multiplayer, $5 for PS Plus vs $10 for Xbox live). But now I believe the Xbox Series X is better than PS5, so I am no longer disappointed, and now Microsoft is buying out the top game companies whose games are not all exclusive yet, but Microsoft intends to make exclusives since they can’t beat Sony in the exclusive category, and gamepass is better than PlayStation Plus and the Xbox series x is superior to the PS5 hardware wise, but I still love PlayStation and I play it whenever I can. So moral of the story, I regretted my impatience in 2013, however in the end my decision was better for the following generation of gaming consoles. We will see what’s in store for next gen!

@@REDisKINGI loved the shit out of my ps2 but I switched over to 360. Then I went from 360 to ps4 because I thought Xbox one with the Kinect was dumb as fuck. Now here I am back on Xbox with my series X because the ps5 was so ridiculously difficult to get a hold of the first couple of years 🤷🏻‍♂️ tbh with game pass Xbox was the right decision. my advice for choosing is to go with the console all your real life friends are on obviously. If that shi doesn’t matter and you just wanna play games that are on both systems then just pick the console that’s cheaper

I never understood the dilemma over the hardware. For me it simply came down to which platform had the better exclusive games.

True one of them would have better exclusives, but there is always at least one REAL good on the other camp which you don't want to miss. And if a game is released earlier on one platform, it might also make another one on the other platforms with better graphics or exclusive content.

@@falcontomto That's what I mean. The question isn't about the hardware but the available (and upcoming) games on each platform. I went original PS to Xbox, 360, PS4, then had the opportunity to get both PS5 and XSX so I did. Every decision was based on the games not the console.

for me playstation will always be superior to xbox, i dont care about the performance etc etc as long as the game is still playable and dont really have any stuttering or constant fps drop its fine, but on the other hand xbox has a really good looking UI, it becomes a bigger issue now with the next gen because i really hate the ps5 design lol but if i get the xbox i wont be able to play those ps exclusive game😭😭

Absolutely. I think it would take a techie kind of girl to understand and appreciate the situation… yet, a very patient one to deal with it and still wanting to make her man happy, when the situation didn’t work out. Definitely would be an amazing woman. I don’t think a lot of people in relationships these days realize that they are pretty easy when both parties can openly talk to each other about anything and they both go out of their way to make the other happy. Money and material possessions are just notches on ones measurement of their success… But true success in life is happiness and love.

He did. They played stuff like world of Warcraft on it. Consoles have their benefit as well, between being an entertainment hub for a TV, they offer a more relaxed, casual and social gaming experience + split screen with friends - they loved playing Halo.

He had a Alien gaming laptop but was always more of a couch / TV type of person to play games. I can see him now having some crazy computer setup connected to his TV and playing games through Steam / Gamepass. But he's always stuck on the character customization screens or he's constantly tinkering with the computer to make the games run and look better at maximum performance then to actually play the games. Because he's having more fun making things run better.

It's funny how the actors can say Xbox One and Playstation 4. but in the store they still have to cover up the logos with tape on both consoles for advertising purposes 😅

For everyone saying he would be a PC guy that’s pretty obvious. But in 2013, PC gaming was still in the beginnings of its resurgence. It was still extremely expensive at the time was riddled with bad ports and barred from a lot of console exclusives. If this episode was released within the last 5 years it would be no contest.

I don't even watch Big Bang Theory that much, but this clip was like a trip down memory lane for me and a breath of the past. Seeing all those Wii U consoles and 3ds/2ds consoles on the shelves, the promos for Mario and Luigi Dream Team, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Mario Party Island Tour, Super Mario 3D World, and The Legend of Zelda A Lonk Between Worlds, it was like it reminded me of a better time. Back when all the promos were out and back when these games were being used as displays and when Gamestop was much cooler. Now it's just plain boring to be in one nowadays. This just reminded me of so much.
