Nice video. You don't need to put 2 lives into the Shelly 2.5. Live is linked internally so just 1 going in is fine

Lucky to have so much space available. Most European home won't have space to fit those unfortunately

Nice video! I have the same setup with lights and vent controlled by a Shelly 2.5, but when the fan is running for a few minutes and gets turned off, you can hear the relay flickering for a moment - sometimes even the lights get turned on when it happens. I'm using MQTT to send commands btw. Did you ever experience a similar situation? Thanks!

Thank you, in all of my installations, I did not use mqtt, and no flickering happened with me. I suggest you disable mqtt and try it with shelly cloud to make sure that the problem is not from mqtt and if your house electricity is three phase make sure all wires installed on shelly from one phase

Don’t forget to turn off the power after identifying the active (hot) wires. That step not shown and an important one if want to live. Then restore power when all connected to link to app & use. Yes you’d think turning the power off & only back on once completed is obvious, but the death & injury stats show how many forget to do the obvious. Also, best to first test the power on indicator unit to confirm its working. It won’t let you know power is actually on if it’s not working.

Sorry if this is a silly question but you removed 3 wires at the beginning of the video and at the end of the video you attached 4 wires... did you run a black neutral wire without saying anything?

Yes that's right, in my case the neutral wire located In the adjacent switches, There is a small bulb inside the switch, I took the neutral from there,

أهلن صديقي الموضوع يعتمد على النظام المتوفر عندك ونوع السويتش السمارت والتوافق مع باقي الأجهزة انا شخصيا ما حبيت المفاتيح اللمس بحب احس اني اضغط على المفاتيح اهم شيء التوافق باقي الاجهزه الموجوده عندك

الله يعافيك الموضوع يعتمد على الاحتياجات انا مثلا ما بفضل المفاتيح التتش وايضا بحب أضيف Plug مع كبسات الحائط وشيلي ممكن تركب على اجهزة مثل سخان الماء و البويلر و واي plug موجد في المنزل وأهم من هذا كله خيارات التحكم المتعددة والتوافق مع جميع الانظمه

Yes right you can ignore the step that was done in this video if the electrical load is less than 10A

Hi at the beginning of the Video, when you opened the switches, there was no Neutral wire. But at the end there is a Neutral wire. Did I miss anything.? Thanks in advance.

That is right You didn't miss anything. The neutral was inside the box. I didn't shoot it at the beginning of the video. If it's not available, you need to extend the wire from the bulb to the box.

neutral wire is already connected to the bath vent You only need the neutral to operate the shelly device.

@@WeSmart What @Taplo meant is, that in certain countries you will or have to use wires with certain colours for live, neutral and ground. That way it is easier to regocnise, which purpose a certain wire has and if it might be the live one. I would have used several colours in your installation as well, to make it more clear where the wires have to be attached to etc. Of course that doesn't have any effect on the operation of the shelly or the devices attached to it, the copper wire inside is the same anyways. In Germany you are required to use black for live, blue for neutral, yellow/green for ground/pe.

Thank you for the information. Really, identifying the colors for the wires is very important. But the difference of colors between countries caused confusion In my country we usually use the black color for the neutral line. 😥

مساء الخير اخوي كيف الحال ان شاء الله بخير عندي شيلي 2.5 ركبتها على مفتاحين اثنين عادي اللي مش زنبرك عاديات اللي تحت on وفوق of المهم اني ركبتها وشغاله شيلي عال عال المشكلة اللي صادفتني الا وهي انه لمن يكون المفتاح بوضع ال of وقتها ما اقدر اتحكم باللمبات عن طريق التطبيق والعكس يمعنى لمن يكون مقفل المفتاح من التطبيق ماقدر اتحكم باللمبات يدوي من المفتاح هل لهذه المشكلة حل وشكرا لك

وعليكم السلام شيلي ٢.٥ غير مناسبه للمكيفات لن تتحمل المكيف وطريقه طفي وتشغيل المكيف من خلال قطع الكهرباء عنه لا افضلها ابدا اشتغل على اجهزة ir افضل

@@WeSmart بالنسة لشيلي pmممكن تؤدي وظيفة تشغيل واطفاء المكيف مع العلم لما شغلت المكيف على شيلي 2.5 لاحظت الطاقة المستهلكة هي 50w وات ودرجة الحرارة التي يسجلها المكيف هي c16

الموضوع يعتمد على المكيف نفسه كم طن هذا المكيف انفيرتر ام لا الأرقام التي ذكرتها تدل انك شغلت المكيف على وضع المروحه ٥٠ واط استهلاك المكيف عند تشغيل المروحه فقط

انا جربت اركب شيلي ٢.٥ علي غرفة المعيشة عندي بس بعد التركيب لمبات الغرفة بدءت تعمل فلاش تفتكر فين المشكلة ؟

تأكد أن الاسلاك على جميع مداخل شيلي مثبتة بطريقه جيده واذا استمرت المشكله افصل الاسلاك على مداخل sw وجرب تشغيل بدون وجود اسلاك على sw بمعنى اخر جرب التشغيل من التطبيق واترك المداخل sw بدون ربط كبسات الحائط عليها

لا اعتقد لان الكبسه الواحدة تتحمل ٢٠٠٠ واط حاول انك تتبع المشكله بالطريقة التي ذكرتها في التعليق السابق وممكن انك تفصل جميع اللمبات وتجرب لمبه من نوع اخر هل يوحد داخل كبسة الحائط لمبه صغير ؟؟؟؟

جيد في اي تركيب لأجهزة شلي انتبه من هذه النقطة اذا كان هناك لمبه صغيره داخل كبسه الحائط أفصل اللمبه لأنها تعمل مشاكل في اليه عمل مدخل sw في أجهزة شيلي

السلام عايكم ربطت شيلي 2.5 على ماطرو ماء واشتغل لكن صار معي حالة بالبرنامج من اطفي يشتغل الضوء الازرق ومن اشغل يطفى الضوء الازرق.. ممكن حل لطفا.. ممنون
