However, she dated him for two years. Nobody I know will date a man who doesn't work in the first place. She may have pointed out what we already know about him but she shined the light on herself for accepting it until he was no longer interested in her. He's looking for the woman who will not give in to him without him having to change.

Taylor is not a victim although she really wants to be. She knew exactly who shep was when she started dating him. He did not use her if anything she used him. Dating him got her on a reality show. Dating her got him nowhere. She is needy, clingy, and whiny.... Why would he want that? She is immature and needs to grow up. He will commit when he finds the right one and obviously she is not the right one. People do not change you have to accept them for who they are.

I honestly do not get why she's so upset. He was exactly like this when they got together, throughout their entire relationship he told her he was not going to change. At one point, he told her if she needed more to go find someone else that can provide what she wants. SHE STAYED, she is the one who wasted her own time. It's sad, yea but he is who he is.

By no means is this in support of Shep; however, she has to be accountable that she chose to be with him. She knew who he was while she was dating him. She thought she could change him but he did not want to change. She is now mad that her choice made her look bad after friend after friend advise her to leave the abuse. She said she wanted to stay. I understand she is hurt because she still loves him but it critical that you love yourself and have high standards of how your treated as a woman.

This was just really sad to watch… I think Taylor, as lovely as she is, is still a bit of a little girl. Shep should have NEVER gotten into such a serious situation with her, because he really does not want a relationship. Shep needs therapy - he has some kind of deep seeded fear of failure when it comes to relationships. Besides the whole anger management and self esteem issues.
