10 ай бұрынLet's deal with the Elephant in the room first. I never planned for this to be a YT video and so I never considered the recording quality and format at the time. I was simply running with a ton of energy and a huge will to make this jacket. So apologies for the lower sound (turn up your tv volume) and for the smaller screens. Please don't hit me with your hate messages - I don't think I could take it.

This couldn't have been more timely. I have some fabric with sherpa on the back, and have been stuggling with what to make with it. Suddenly thought the Illford might work (I already have the pattern), so googled to see if anyone had made it with Sherpa, and TaDa! -your vlog came up. I love your make. Question-what hardware did you put on the pocket corners? I think that's brilliant - looks fantastic and will provide a lot of strength to the corners.

Hi there and thanks so much for contacting me. So these were just 7mm rivets. So rookie error warning, i didn't add extra strength in those parts of the pocket so one of the rivets keeps working its way free so just think about that if you do the same. Make sure you share your make!!

Sorry to have annoyed you. This was actually a sequence of instagram stories taken throughout the day. I thought there was something helpful in it that i could offer people so downloaded and bolted them together. That does mean that they are portrait. Had i left the background black, people would have complained about that
