What happened to the Calcutta D series I can’t find them anywhere not even the Shimano website I hope they didn’t discontinue them they were really good reels

I think they discontinued the D series, but the conquest series has compact body

How heavy of a lure can you throw on the Conquest 200? Can you throw 6oz lures on it or will it wear out the gears too quickly? Great video!

Max 4oz, planing to pair with rod 1-4oz lure , if i throw 6oz I'll go with conquest MD

You think the Calcutta conquest 400 md would do good with big red drum and black drum fishing from a jetty or surf?

I think its fine, but i don't have experience fishing drums and i have no idea how much power that fish has, you might be need to see the drag power too

How big are red drum? I use a conquest 400 in Southern California for yellowtail (20 to 40 lbs) and bluefin tuna (30 to 60 lbs).
