Here are some of the references in the video to (hopefully) help clear out any confusion: *1)* That fox is a main character from Jonghyun's favorite book, "The Little Prince". Also the shadow of the man behind Onew is Antoine de Saint-Exupery himself (author of The Little Prince). *2)* In several cultures the fox bears a symbolic assosiation to the afterlife. In Celtic folklore, in particular: "The ancient Celts considered the Fox an expert on the layout of the forest and held this particular animal in high esteem for it’s wisdom. They also relied upon the Fox with his intuitive sense of direction to be their guide on the path to the spirit world" I don't think the "spirit world" part needs explaining I just want to point out that we did see the boys run through a forest. *3)* There is an empty chair in the beginning, on their right and it appears as if they are expecting a 5th person to fill it. Also at the part where they are at the well, there are 5 trees behind them and there is also a 5th person as a shadow inside it. Even tough we can only see four, the members of SHINee are always 5. The point when they are looking inside the well itself is also a scene from "The Little Prince" book illustrations. *4)* The pearl aqua blue lighting throughout the MV and the pearl aqua "stage" they dance on is a tribute to their fandom, SHAWOL (pearl aqua blue is the fandom's official color). It alludes to the fact that the fandom is always there to illuminate them (SHINee means "the one who receives the light", the fandom provides said light) and support them (stage). *5)* A lot of fans have been saying that the MV alludes to the stages of grief: i) Denial & Isolation - at several points of the MV ii) Anger - Key smashing the piano iii) Bargaining - The lyrics iv) Depression - again, at several points of the MV, esp the part where they appear to be drowning. v) Acceptance - The dance. The choreographer is world-renowned Japanese choreographer, Koharu Sugawara, who is known for her interpretive dance style. At first, their moves are too slow- they are almost idle. As the song goes on, their dance picks up and at the end of the song, their dance starts to match the upbeat tempo of the song- but still not at 100%. *6)* The whole "entrapment" theme: Not completely sure but most probably it's about them not being able to voice their feelings/grieve the way they want to, since the media has always been and still is, present (you can see them at several times in the MV being circled by cameras and TVs). There are many more layers to this song & it's MV but I'll stop here. Also if this comment looks familiar, it's because I've posted it elsewhere too, since a lot of people are confused :) And thank you for the reaction!!

SHINee was one of the first bands I was into when I got into kpop back when I was in middle school. Kpop was my happy bubble and listening to these songs made me feel better when I felt down. Now ten years later when Jonghyun died, it was like my happy, childhood bubble burst and it became a nightmare. Like everyone else, I was really distraught for a few months but I came to accept it for what it is and I feel like the part in the mv when all four members are dancing in the rain is symbolic of how they are accepting it as well. Even after all of the months that past, I still haven’t processed the fact that Jonghyun isn’t here anymore. When I first watched this video, I constantly felt like everything was just off without him in it. But SHINee’s comeback is really good overall and I’m so happy that they came back

Jonghyun death is something that will never stop hurting me. I wasn't even super obsessed with shinee but I always came back to their songs from time to time, they never disappointed me (they didn't this time too) and I fucking love his voice. Everytime I think about him I start crying, I still can't listen to his last album as well. And as someone going through depression, I think I know how he felt. But as much as I wish he was still here with us I am happy they didn't give up on music, I'm happy they kept fighting. I can't imagine the weight they are carrying right now and if they can make an album with that weight, we can be strong toghether as well. We need to support Shinee, now more than ever. I saw SHINee back in 2010 i think and it was a joint concert that had many other artists, but im glad i saw them live, but also regretful that i wasn't able to see them in their own concert. SHINee always puts out great music at the right time for me as well. we all needed this, and im glad they decided to comeback. I don't think i'll ever get over it, but i know he wont ever be forgotten.maybe one day we won't shed tears, and just smile for SHINee, all 5 of them ^^

Ah, this got so real at the end. Thank you for sharing that vulnerable moment with us, Jre. People should indeed compliment each other more often! I try to do it as often as possible, though it's really hard to do towards guys without them thinking you're trying to start something lol. Still, I get some in there every now and then. Awhile back I complimented an older gentlemen on his suit (it was very ostentatious and amazing), and his whole face lit up. It's incredible to see how much a simple compliment can turn around a person's entire day. But about the song - it's an excellent bop! I expect nothing less from SHINee. It's hard to watch, true, but I'm really happy they're able to continue on and bring us all the joy and beauty they always have. Jonghyun would have wanted it that way, and it only makes his memory live forever in our hearts.

This is such a roller coaster of emotions. The excitement, the pure happiness and then the reality hits you hard. He's not here anymore... It's like that door that you couldn't completely close that suddenly shuts on your face. I smiled and it kind of dipped it's head/almost bowed while looking at me and I just lost it. I burst out crying. I couldn't help it. All the boys but Jjong in particular really helped me. We're all here for each other Jre.

He was my favourite. 10 years. They're my ult group since 2008 and I love them, all 5 of them like they are my brothers, for real. It's hard. I love them all, it's hard.
