Shiny Aipom in Emerald's Safari Zone after 11,048 random encounters + Shiny Fail

Two Shiny Aipom from this year's Safari Week. Caught one and failed one. I can't believe I caught the first one I saw. Aipom has a 45 catch rate and a 15% chance to flee so I'm incredibly blessed to have caught the first one I saw. Some people I've known have struggled big time with this target for a while.
It came on my new German copy of Emerald which is helping me learn the language. Very pleased with this find though I'm sure as the years go by and I target the more difficult to find stuff like Pineco and Hoothoot that I'll see plenty of these. It's a great shiny though so I won't get tired anytime soon.

Dunno why, but sometimes I love how Aipom looks and sometimes I hate it. I do like Ash’s one and the Aipom from the 3rd movie

Got a guide for shiny hunting? I assume there are strats for it, other than take a ton 9f balls and do random ecounters till you drop. Im i terested in gen 2(crystal) and 3(Fire Red)

7.8/10 Rating for this video. Too much water. Why didn't you just Masuda it though, bro? You could have gotten it in Pokemon Go and PLA so much easier! Really preferred the days when all of your content was you catching Pidgey's cause this Aipom stuff is clout chasing.
