Probably one of the most forgotten places in FireRed/LeafGreen - Three Isle Port. These patches of grass open up after the main story to give you 100% Dunsparce. It's a neat little area with a bit more than meets the eye. For some reason, the encounter rate is very slow here. It's actually the same speed as Underwater in Hoenn. Talking with a few fellow shiny hunters, the theory is that it was to try to promote the Pokemon's rarity. Dunsparce is an otherwise rare Pokemon in most games so I believe this is probably true. Fortunately, Sweet Scent is quite cosy. It's a tiny bit more work in FR/LG because they moved the field moves to below the summary. A tiny annoyance but it's fine once you get used to it.
Dunsparce is a really nice shiny. A very simple change that I like a lot. Blue to pink, classic.
