Phase 2 for 20% Starmie ends with a shiny male Jellicent. Not too bad. I really like this shiny and despite it being a reset target in Black and White, you don't see it all that often. I personally prefer the female form for this line though I'm not complaining.
This shined on the very last encounter of the night. I was ending at 13,500 and amazingly it appears then. It's been a long time since that happened.

Wow congrats on the shiny Jellicent! It’s really amazing, after 13’000. Male jellicent has to be one of the coolest shinies out there. I’m deffo gonna hunt one in Shield someday.

Congrats on shiny Jellicent Male! It's actually nice looking. I actually something similar happen with my Sandygast, cause I was literally finishing up and getting ready for bed, so I said I'd just do the last 4 sand dunes and the 3rd last one I did was the shiny. Congrats again

Congratulations on the green jellyfish :D 13K though... that's pretty brutal. I'd love to do a hidden grotto challenge one day if it's possible; there's some pretty cool encounters for them but I'm not sure how that would work.

@@Foxtrot12345You could still do an overworld shiny challenge, Braviary/Mandibuzz, Jelliicent, Volcarona, Crustle, Foongus and a guaranteed shiny Haxorus are all available overworld hunts/catches. That's enough for a full team.

I found some random shinies back in Pearl when I was very young…maybe 4 or 5 across multiple playthroughs which is a lot more than the average person. But I was a stupid kid and deleted save files with shinies in them for some idiotic, unjustifiable reasons. Gen 5 is when I first started to understand the true value of shinies, and I found a random shiny Frillish in Driftveil City’s little pond. I still have it in Home to this day. It’s also male so I may choose to evolve it into this beautiful shiny someday.

If it was me I'd have a fainted Pokemon in the front of the party with Cute Charm, so at least I'd be more likely to get a shiny female, if I phased on a Jellicent.

Congrats on the shiny! Hoping the next one is Starmie. How do you get the pass powers? I know it’s to do with the entralink (I think) but never fully understood it. Was wanting to go for seel/Dewgong in white in giant chasm and would be a massive help
