100%! After years of learning to modify Subaru’s successfully for AutoX, and then another for light off road use. I really learned to appreciate oem engineering more and more. I’ve now set my mind to my next vehicle chapter and decided on a new Tacoma, which is wonderful and allows me to basically run stock with zero headaches!

My 2024 4Runner off-road Premium with KDSS drives very well with Wildpeak 265/70-17 all terrain LT/E rated tires. Also have a full-length roof rack and rock rails. Average around 19mpg.

I'm running the new 8112 dsa+ and 8100's on my '22 tacoma pro. Straight out the box it feels like they doubled the performance over the factory fox 2.5's. I'm on bfg 265/75r16 ko2's with factory 16" trd wheels. Any chance I can swing by poway and have you guys show me how to dial these things in? I think I have a handle on the fronts but the rear is what I need a lesson on. I don't want to end up having the compression and rebound fighting each other out on the trail.

I had a 2007 Tacoma 4x4 I put 5100s on front and rear riding on 265/75R16 so I set the fronts at .75" and put in an Add a leaf. That's all it took to go everywhere I needed. In the winter I'd stuff a snowmobile in the back and drive high offroad to meet the snow line. I'm in a Tundra now and trying to accomplish the same performance, but I'd like a super comfortable ride with 2" lift and stock tire and wheel size 18".

We chose to put money into the Toyotas upfront because they will last past 100k. I figure its better to start out with something reliable!😮. Neighbors JL is on the tow truck as we speak @ 40k miles. Loving the new bilsteins on the wifes Tacoma.

I'd like to level out the front of my 5th gen 4runner with 6112s and run 5160s in the rear with no lift. Should I run aftermarket UCAs? I plan to keep the oem tire size.

I’m researching Bilstein’s 6112/5160 combo for my Tacoma wondering if they can increase the comfort and control on high speed gravel FSR’s. Now on a stock truck with no extra mods or lift, does that make sense to purchase the larger kit above the 4600/5100’s? I’m not really going hard I just want maximum comfort.

Correction. Toyota 4Runners on some models have all terrain tires.

I think you guys mean well here and agree to an extent but anyone doing the sheet metal cutting and reinforcements for 35s/37s with long travel or a solid axle swap on 40s knows what they are doing enough to do it and their rigs work damn well, just check out the toyotas at best of the west this weekend. also not everyone wants a JL, the current dana 44 with cad and weak knuckles is junk, the ride on road is pretty bad even stock, the interior isnt as nice as a toyota, its so loud inside, its like 70k for a stock rubicon
