I'm so glad you found that place instead of me. I get enough deliveries to the house almost daily - my wife wants to commit me. If I was near this place, I'd be living in a storage unit - just me and my records 🤔 Not that that sounds too bad 😂

Jeff! This was so crazy! I bought probably 1000 records...so I've got lots of boxes of records to contend with!...everyone of them needs to be ultrasonically cleaned too! But, there's so many great records, it's a good "problem" to have! 🤣😂🤣

Thank you! That's one thing i didn't have...cash! I wish i had a lot more money at the time...there were many great records that i passed on because i couldn't afford to buy everything! I overspent...I HAD too!!! Too good to pass up! I had to scramble to make my rent payment!...but it was all worth it!

the big deal about Bloodwyn Pig is that Abrahms was the "sound" of Jethro Tull on the 1st three albums (albeit with added flute parts). After he left to form his new band, Ian Anderson changed JT to their still-rocky "Aqualung sound" and then it went straight into english folk (Songs Of the Wood, etc) thereafter.

Dylan!!! Thanks for stopping by! It's an honor to know you've watched one of my videos! You would have had a heyday at this place!!! I've got video of me flipping RIGHT PAST a $5000 record!!! Biggest mistake made in the history of vinyl record collecting... and i have the honor of being the person who screwed up so bad!!! 🤣😂🤣 Someone could have bought the whole lot and done VERY well!!! Three record store owners that i know looked at this collection before we were allowed to dig in it. They all passed or waaay low-balled...and everyone of them are complaining about their loss now! My friend ended up with the $5000 record...he also got 4 copies of Maggot Brain (that's how crazy this place was!) He also found Morgen!

Lots of great stuff and super cool place to find them. Reminds me of the old days of pickin records. I used to find a few places like that. Rare these days. I say keep that record sealed.

I've been to a few small to big finds. Had to leave most of it behind. I went to a church, and they had some really good records. Most I couldn't take back with me. They were a real bargain. Got a few Folks, Joe Walsh, Harry Nilsson, Jimmy Buffett. Makes you wonder where the big collection that you went to, came from? The prices were good. How can anyone go through 100,000 records. I got into Hugo M back in the 80's with Moog power.

My gawd...what scores! PiL LPs in the tin! Scratch Acid! I have never seen that Scratch Acid LP. I do have "The Greatest Gift" on CD. Speaking of SA and David Yow, I saw Jesus Lizard back in 1997 here in Florida and David Yow jumped off the stage and put me in a bear hug. I kept elbowing him in the stomach to let go but instead he kept singing. LOL I screamed into the mic and then he let go and we looked at each other and laughed. All of those records are such amazing finds. All that psych and punk! Great scores all around. ~ Nicola

Very cool Yow story! I was fortunate enough to see JL several times! So good! I was playing bass for Thor in 2006. Scratch Acid was doing a reunion tour then. They showed up at the door of our gig in Chicago. I told them i could probably get them in, but they ended up going elsewhere.

Yes!!! Those Black Widow records were found on day 3 (my next video)...so many other insane finds coming up too!!! Soooo many records worth hundreds!!! First Bowie! The Golden Dawn!!! (look that one up!)...i was going to post the values of the records i found, but decided not to because it's very time consuming...but the numbers are astronomical!!!

Very cool finds and it looks like you had a blast diggin'! I was so jealous when I saw Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends! I've been looking for that one for a while myself. I have an old LP copy that sounds like it was drug down the freeway doing 100 mph. I've got a mint sounding rip on CD I got from somebody but that's just not the same as having the LP and I'm going to find it again one day but in good shape! Let me rephrase that. I was really big into surf in the mid 90s...i worked at a record store at the time, and i curated the surf (and rockabilly) sections of the store. Now i always pick it up when i find it cheap.

I'm a collector of Japanese vinyl. Most major collections like these never include any. I'm very big into Japanese Jazz etc. I'd love it if we got more of that good stuff in the west rather than the generic "Elvis or beatles fanboy'

I am still watching so may post some more later. I saw that ad originally and was interested but I had Covid. You are right the pictures didn't do it justice. She told me there were over 700,000 records in two houses and three garages. I used to know Phil who owned these records back in the 80s and 90s. I did make it over a month later for a bunch of $1 albums but nothing earth shattering. My friend John bought some boxes for $10 each. He felt like he got some decent stuff in them.

Did you try Kanesville Collectibles ? He's for Massive vinyl at reasonable prices. I picked up Todd Rundgren Something/Anything NM last week for $9. They wanted 20-35 on record collector sites. I'd call it a great buy....

best i ever scored was around 26,000 vinyls in 2008 from a DJ that moved on to serato he was part of a dj pool where they got "free" records, tons of promos and singles, plenty of sealed stuff that he never opened and many that he bought himself he wanted $1 a piece, managed to negotiate down to 70 cents each made back my investment within 4 months on discogs by picking out the high value italo disco that i recognized, 90s dance stuff, etc

A line up of Lindisfarne stills plays Christmas shows in Newcastle City Hall in the UK their hometown. I think their best song is 'Lady Elanor'. Have you heard of Richard Thompson a Guitarist singer-songwriter from the UK who was in the Folk/Rock band Fairport Convention. He is really rated in the UK.

Thank you Mike!!! There were other people there picking this collection too...and they were killing it too! My friend got a RL Zeppelin II, and FOUR copies of Maggot Brain! He also found a $5000 record!!! (more on that record coming soon!)

@@VinylHunter your not kidding. If I poked myself I probably would not even have felt it, cause I would be on the record euphoria high, finding all these gems. He really found a lot of scarce and nice clean lps. Where I'm at I have not seen chit like this in years.

You killed it man, because you know what to look for. Don't worry about blind buys, as most are garbage, however it only takes one time to hit an unknown grail. If you go back, look for the first 1969, IRON MAIDEN LP called, "MAIDEN VOYAGE". Completely different band. Also these see Cdn. LPs : Reign Ghost / Christmas (with the tank on the cover) / The Spirit of Christmas.

Yeah! I've heard of that Iron Maiden! I'd LOVE to have that!!! A lot of times blind buys don't pan out...but i killed it on blind buys here!!! So many i picked up here are worth hundreds!!

I made it on youtube. I was an aisle over from you in the garage. Many trips to the atm were made that day. The crazy part is I picked up many of the same lp's from that garage. Just nuts.

The Beatles and Elvis: $25. Super rare sealed punk: $1-$3. LOL Smart of you to keep it a secret until after the complete haul. Couldn't imagine what it would be like to have people in there before me, knowing just what was in that collection.

I didn't keep it a secret per se... I'm just 4 months backlogged on videos. You should have seen some of the other records that they had pulled out and priced! I can't remember any specifics, but, $3-5 records priced at $20! 🤣😂🤣 If they didn't recognize it, they didn't think it was good!

Damn! You got me interested in Sir Lord Baltimore, Bang and Bull Angus. I have to go back and watch this again there's probably a bunch of other stuff that I need to research as well. I would have spent a few thousand dollars there.

This is insane. Amazing stuff you picked up. If these were $3 each, I would have said. “I will buy it all at $2 a piece”. Go rent a u-haul and a storage unit and take your time going through everything. Not have to worry about anybody else getting the good stuff.

That Scorpion album brings back memories of my high school years. I'd pass by the neighborhood record store when walking home, and they had a deeply inset entrance with long window displays on both sides. That Scorpion album sat in one of those windows for years, eventually getting really faded from the sun. Most of their business was in 8-tracks and 45s, and they didn't change the window displays very often.
