FYI there is a plastic cap that covers the screw area of the stock. It was missing on mine.

Hi, I assume it is the 14" barrel model, right? With the stock folded would it be more than 26"(660mm)? Can you shoot it with the stock folded, - the stock would not obstruct the trigger?

No it's a the 15 inch barrel, the stock even folded extend pass the grip making it almost 26.5 inches overall. although i have not tried to shoot it folded, i see no reason why could not.

Is that mag fed? What is that thing that looks like a magazine? Either way nice build stay safe (might wanna check if adding a pistol grip is legal not judging but u might’ve made a mistake) it happens to best of us gun laws are so broad and vague its kind of a trap

@@Highgear145after the tax stamp its legal. With out tax stamp you have to have raptor grip it came with. Since braces are ment to be used one and shotguns are not even know its a felony "now". I’M PRETTY SURE THIS WILL LAND YOU IN FEDERAL PRISON. The reason the shockwave is not classified under federal law as a short barreled shotgun is that it is not classified as a “shotgun“. It is classified as a “firearm“. I believe the reason it is not classified as a shotgun is that the definition of a shotgun includes the fact that it was manufactured with a stock. As the shockwave came from the factory without a stock, it is, therefore not a “shotgun”. Putting a stock on it (folding or not) I believe, makes it a shotgun, and therefore it is subject to the federal requirement that it have a barrel that is at least 18.5 inches long. I think the Shockwave’s barrel is 14” long. Yes, this is asinine,as are many of our federal and state firearm laws as well as the ATF’s perpetually arbitrary and often contradictory regulations. But in view of their long standing penchant for persecuting US citizens I’d tread extremely carefully here. This lawyer highly recommends that anyone that is going to do this talk to the ATF goons first and preferably get something from them in writing clearly saying this is legal. If I’m wrong someone please let me know but I don’t think that I am. I don’t think you can screw around with the bird’s head grip from the standpoint of removing it, and adding something else in its place.

Your statement may be accurate in your Country, ATF so i'm assuming your in the USA. As for myself i'm in Canada and here the shockwave is a non-restricted shotgun. I assure you i'am following Canadian gun law. Thanks for watching!

Check with your local dealer, choate stock are fairly popular. As for the fit i can't see why not, Most stock are interchangeable with the maverick 88, but confirm with your vendor

All maverick 88, 500 and 590 stocks are interchangeable. However the forends require a bit of modification.

Pretty irresponsible of you to put this video out without the caveat that a stock is only allowed on a shotgun with a barrel under 18 in if it is registered as a short barrel shotgun. If that gun isn't registered it's illegal and now a bunch of people are thinking they could just throw side folding stocks on their shockwave and be fine. As a gun channel you should know better.
