Did you expect it? Does it make sense to you that there's
a red carpet event before an all-star baseball game?
質問がありあります。このレッドカーペットについてですが、
こんな事予測してましたか？オールスター戦の前にこのような
レッドカーペットイベントあるのは理解できますか？
オールスターの前にこうやってレッドカーペットやる
というのは翔平の常識の中にありましたか？今までに
経験は無いので、去年はだいぶ緊張してましたけど
今年は多少楽しめてるかなと思います。
There’s something he's never expected, but after doing it
last year he was really nervous last year, but now he's a little used to it.
Did you like it last year?

A little off green to pop your eyes. Why you got the green?

He’s saying green's like a really like nice color nature color and
hopefully it helps him to get a base hit something (in) all-star game.

So do you like the fact you're leading off the game?
Do you get a little nervous when you have the first step out
or would you rather do that?

緊張はしないですかね。
初球から思いきり振りたいなとは思ってます。
Well, not nervous at all.
He wants. he loves hitting first and he's gonna give
it his full swing first pitch.

Yeah, he actually saw it on tv right before he came out and
it's very stylish.

could you see yourself next year wearing this outfit? No shirt.

あんまりないですかね。普段ジャージばっかり着ているので、
あんまりスーツ着る機会はないかなと思います。
Usually he all he wears is like sweatsuits and like sweatpants and jeans. So he doesn't really get to dress like this normally.

今完全試合で話題になっている佐々木朗希選手、次季のメジャーに日本から来るスーパースターと言われていますけど、
交流とかはあるんですか？映像とか見たりは？
会った事はないですかね。たぶん出身地は同じなので
いろいろ話には聞いたりしますけど、まだ挨拶はした事ないですかね。
Yeah never actually got to meet the guy yet, but we're from the same
area of Japan so we've got something in common
and hopefully I can meet him one day.

見ました。まっすぐはやっぱ速いので、変化球も良いですけど
まっすぐが速いってのが、やっぱり強みかなと
Yeah. (He’s) seen privileges. He throws heat like gas gas and that
always works out well and he has a good breaking ball too so.
You'll be seeing a good breaking ball to start the all-star game tonight
from Clayton Kershaw.
