Thank you so much! That combination is deadly to my bank account, blasted through a whole roll just on this sunset alone 😂

Thank you Reimann 🙏 it was weird how blue / purple the stock rendered the ocean but there is something about it. Thanks for the kind words and looking forward to your next video!

Well knowing as little as i do about contrast, colour positive or colour negative, i loved these pictures. Even the ones that you were not happy with. The water looks so beautiful. In every photo. I especially loved the scene of the man sitting on the chair through the rock and the solo duck. The most gorgeous ones are of Milah of course! Thank you for documenting your travels with Sonia and Millie Moo. I am loving them.

Well, I might try this film stock some day after all. Beautiful video mate! The shots at 8:15 and 9:15 are stunning in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Noah! Appreciate that man! I also dig the one at the 9 min area! I think it was semi inspired by a shot Nic Carver took. I would also say give Ektachrome a go! It’s definitely a decent stock to experiment with.

your little human is just way too cute :D I also think that it's not always about shooting the absolute best picture for a documentary. I'm also looking forward to when my little man has arrived. Then documentation makes more fun again :D

Great video, Brendon! I’ve only tried this film once in 35mm, maybe it’s time to revisit it again 😂 I actually really like the photo where the sky is well exposed but no shadow detail. It’s a nice silhouette shot, especially with the person on the cliff and the reflections on the shore. It may not be technically perfect, but it has a melancholic vibe that’s perfect for the sunset 😝

Thank you Bon 🙏 Ektachrome is definitely tough to shoot but I agree with you! I guess I’m just used to getting some detail in my shadows but we are often our own worst critics I suppose! Hope you keeping well on the other side of the globe!

I made some of my least favourite images of all time with Ektachrome haha. I actually really like your sunset photos...the crushed blacks don't bother me because the colours are really pretty.

It’s a rough stock to expose correctly I wouldn’t blame you! I’ve definitely had some terrible shots with colour positive in the past. Thanks for the kind words tho Shaun 🙏

What zone do you place your highlights?

This video I messed up I think. I was exposing for highlights on the Ektachrome, so I had next to no detail in the shadows.
