Hi karl. I'd like it if you explained average wage earnings costs in India. Just so people realise how much a free 60 rupee meal means to a food seller. Just an idea. I saw how it affected you but I don't know that everyone would understand. When I visit india I always tip well as rupees will be no use to me in the UK! Yep 100% accurate I live in the US in the south and when I visit New Orleans I always have to avoid scammers. If you got a dense population chances are there's a few people trying to make a buck anyway they can but can't let that ruin it. I bet India is just as beautiful and culturally diverse as New Orleans is to me maybe even more would love to visit

And india is fun and beautiful and a lot cleaner that it is made out to be, just avoid public transportation and you will have hassle free experience.

For free Biryani I believe the man considered you as a guest and he said it is from me (as a gift), so culturally it is fine. Since India has so diverse culture it is imaginable that you will meet people like this also. In most of the Asian countries, they do treat guests like this.
