I have very small hands!!! And start playing as physiotherapy after losing one joint from my index finger left hand... it was the best thing I did. Have a lot of fun playing!!! Thank you!!! I won’t see my short hands as an handicap anymore...

I gave myself CTS because my fingers are so short. Still trying to learn but I am stuck on the beginner module for 9 months now. I also can't grow calluses, so my fingertips are constantly sore only now I am fighting two pains with one from the fingertips, and the other from the wrist area. 24x7

My mom and dad celebrated 41 years together before he passed away. Me and my wife have been married 21yrs this year. Also they say marijuana is good for short fingered guitar players with cataracts 😂 put us on some tea and I'll roll us one 😂😂😎👊🎸🤘

You're seventy-seven? I thought you were ten years younger than that. You are very articulate for your age!

Morrison - I don't get it. I am a huge fan of AC/DC and I am 3-4 inches taller than Malcolm (shrinking as I age though) and while learning guitar I hurt my hand so bad that I am probably (I hope not but 24x7 pain was becoming too unbearable) going to have to toss the axe. I am back to about 80% now as I have not picked up a guitar in almost a month. What happened is my hand is so small I gave myself CTS because to reach the upper strings without muting the others I was doing funky stuff with my wrist. The real problem is my thumb as I have no idea where that issue came from as it is in the joint near the wrist up to the first knuckle of the thumb. From what I feel by doing different movements I hurt the worst if I try to pinch anything so I suspect it happened due to pushing on the back of the neck of the guitar with my thumb to do the notes. Basically, I just don't get how Angus can play without damage for all of these decades.

Look for a tie over capo . They aren't popular. It will give you a small amount of room to get bigger angle of attack than a clip on. They will give you really small advantage which is a lot.Flat capo Dunlop make them. Look for it trust me it's cheap and non invasive . ✌️
