How do you prepare to get your hair braided, twisted, styled,etc on a wash day? Like from start to finish? And what’s the best thing to do after a wash day if you’re not getting your hair styled that particular day to help keep the length and minimise detangling.. or is there no such thing, detangling is inevitable when you’re not styling your hair lol

It makes me feel better that you also have new growth on the sides but still look good. The first time I gave myself an undercut, I took the line a little too high on the sides so I am trying to grow that back.

@@dmbration6668 I would damp it. Not soaking but it's damp to where you can pick,detangle, comb through. Don't ever do it dry, ever. I learned that lesson and lost a good inch. As you detangle, hold it up near your hair.
