I really would like to see a build in there with exactly every slot filled with the biggest stuff you guys can fit. Its one thing to dummy place everything. To cable it is another thing

@@ShortCircuit want a thermal paste for my laptop which is equipped with a r5 4600h and a 1660 so with which paste should I go with kryonaut, noctua nt nh1 ,or artic mx4,or kingpin kpx which one will last 8 -10 months without drying or significant rise in temp

There is space in the bottom and the top, not in the middle, you just have to do a good cable management.

@space man your pun sucks, seriously. And about the case of course its not perfect but it has few aspects that fit the needs of quite a lot of people. Talking about the XL these 2 are very different, I want this case since I want to save space while I fit regular ATX components, XL is too big for my planned setup.

@space man cable management and custom cables, I've seen modders that have done much more than you did like building watercooled ITX with aquaero controller and still the nailed the build. Of course average PC builder does not have the tool skills time (and maybe money) to build such PCs, but believe me fitting all of that storage is not impossible to that case.

For anyone curious to buy this, this case does have different compatibility compared to its dynamic counterpart. This one supports an atx power supply where the dynamic supports sfx, I also believe you can use offset brackets in the dynamic for a 360 rad but not in the air mini. Hope this helps!

Okay I walked into this unboxing expecting "Oh, it's a Mini with a vent on the front." The "Full ATX PSU" support knocked my socks off. As with the additional 3.5" sleds where the side mount used to be, and included fans for the price. It's going to be a bit chubbier than the already fairly chubby original Mini as a result though. But really, ATX PSU was THE #1 demanded feature from the original release, so I'm not surprised at all about the change. Honestly, you're giving me buyers' remorse for getting the original Mini! And I've wanted that case since they teased it!

You can also use doublesided tape or taped velcro to fit more SSDs in the front area if you want - seems like you can fit like 3-4 SSDs in the front depending on how you stick them to the inner chassis wall.

I like this approach to case unboxings. Since ShortCircuit isn't for full reviews, doing dummy/test fit build seems like the perfect compromise.

Really need to see the case with RAM installed and both Noctua fans on the cooler! I bought the O11 XL purely so I could fit the NHD15 but you need to swap the front fan by the RAM for a 120mm to get the glass side on. Please do a full build proving the FULL installation of the NHD15!

I have an 011 dynamic too and actually just purchased a Meshify-C on Wednesday becuase I'm getting tired of how huge the 011 Dynamic is. And now Lian Li comes out with this, so it looks like I'm going to be selling my 011 Dynamic buying this case then selling the Meshify-C. I really want this case.

I have a meshify 2 with dual 360mm radiators, and I removed the factory filters both front and top to allow for increased airflow. I found that the mesh is open enough to allow for airflow but closed enough where i'm ok with it not having additional filtration - the cat hair builds up on the front of the front panel mesh and i clean it every week or two so she doesn't get choked off and looking nice :D

This case with 4x16TB drives, 2x256GB SSD's for Caching, and then a small m.2 SSD on board for the OS (maybe 2 if you're redundant) - Would make a pretty sweet unraid/server box hiding nicely in your living room.

NH-D15S was put in the wrong way; it's actually top biased (check gap between edge of heatsink and heat pipe), flip it around and there won't be any clearance issues with the GPU

I'm waiting for the O11 Evo to launch before buying a new case. I went from the O11 xl to the mini, and ran out of aio cpu and gpu aio cooling. I'm curious to see if lian li and EK will allow 3 rads with a distro plate, and the columnal gpu mount has me intrigued. But if rad support is no better than the xl, then I'm getting a 7000d and building a loop with two 420 rads

No joke agree about air cooling. I've built more than a few custom cases designed specifically with duct work to isolate and move the hot air as efficiently as I could manage. If you go as far as to plan for hardware and make tailor made ducting you can get really impressive numbers with low sound pollution. I've also built one where the case is basically just a massive radiator/heat pipe style heat sink with fans along to push flow (similar to the one featured recently). You can get solid results that route and even if a fan (that's nearly non existent rpm or sound wise) goes out you're not going to overheat on standard loads.

You guys should do a case round up specifically looking at cases that fit in the FJÄLLBO TV bench (that it looks like you have in this set). I'm currently using a Thermaltake Core G3. It's a little too deep and sticks our the back. The biggest issue is that the GPU strugggggles to get any airflow through the tiny intake. Definitely not too niche and well worth a full LTT series :P (I mean you already have the TV bench)

One of the best parts of the 011D is the hot swap drive bays, sucks it doesn't include that, though maybe an addon is possible?

Yes (around 5:40), I have water cooled my computer in the past, but having 3 working air cooled computers that don't need their fluid changed is time saving.

Wish this was around when I was building my PC. I bought a regular O11D mini and now I'm limited to SFX and SFX-L PSUs. I do love the front glass panel on the regular mini tho, so it's got its ups and downs.

Wonder how much taller the D15 cooler would be with fans mounted and the Trident Z ram installed. in my build, I used Kingston ram, and the fan on the D15 sits a little above the top of the fin stack, and that's with "low profile" kingston sticks. Still a nice case, wonder how it does against the Corsair 4/5000D airflow.

D15 fits in a normal 011d mini and clears the side panel by about 2mm if you use 32
