I ride that Sweet potato board. Going from a 10ft longboard to a 5'10" shortboard it's amazing really playful and paddles super nice 😀

I'm interested in surfing standing waves at a local river. I've been surfing mostly longboards for the past 10 years and shortest board has been 7'4" Hynson Black Knight. Do you have any information on transitioning to surfing standing waves and board recommendations? Thanks.

I'm riding 5'8 31l modern 2, now I just bought a 5'6 26L haven't tried the board yet but hopefully I can ride it haha

personally i’d start on a foam longer board if you have never ever surfed before but if you would rather start on a short board just go for it because you will learn
