Send one to Cyclops Joe for a test to confirm if they are so good as you say and test them on a magnum springer air rifle a few thousand shots to see if they withstand the double recoil. Than i believe that it is a good scope 👍 Cheers!

I think that if you are in competion go buy it but if go to the range to shoot for fun is a waste of money

Would love to try an 8-40 on my new build but it's hard to justify the $4.1k price tag not being a competition shooter.

So many people comenting that have no idea why this thing is 4 grand. Look at TT, S&B, NF, Kahles, USO the list goes on. And compare any of em to your crappy 3-9 tasco lol. The ignorance is real.

now thats not right!. i for one believe in buying what you can afford. me i'am on a pension a military one at that. i know i cant afford optics in that price point. so i go with optics in my price point they could very well be a great optic, but to me they are out of my price range. i stay in that range and work with it! nothing wrong if someone cant afford them is all.

@@UltimateArms Yes, buying what one can afford is the way to do it. The point is, affordable optics is a relative term and every time Alex has a video about anything expensive the complaints start. "This is supposed to be affordable optics and rifles!!! $4000 I'm OUT!!!! QQ". I'm not paying $4k for a scope but some people that watch might so the whining just sounds like bitter jealousy. When I click on a video and discover it's not for me, I go to something else. I don't have to let the world know about it. But I'm also not Canadian so maybe it's just a cultural thing.

Until you look through the glass. Then you will see the difference and yeah there is a big difference in optical performance.

Sadly, I have to disagree. I have the Burris XTR3 and its a fantastic optic I believe I paid 1800. Didn't think it could get any better. I looked through the nightforce atacr and I was wrong it can get better. The night force was insane, I had to get one. Then I looked through a ZCO and in my opinion it has better glass than the Night force and Night force is amazing. You pay for what you get especially when shooting at 1000+

Thanks fer sharing, - I DEFINITELY have to just laugh at all these johnny-come-lately scope companies in the past decade that are coming out of the woodwork claiming blahblahblah, AND, better yet, charging the same price, IF NOT MORE.....lmao....than the REAL Euro.Mfg'd. Companies that have existed since time & have ALWAYS proven to be the innovators of the latest technology. The prices this new-fly-by outfit, (alot like vortex), charges is a joke, ESPECIALLY when everyone comes to find out the internals are ALL sourced out of Asia somewhere's,.....just like the scopes that are identical in features that sell for around $500.00, give or take 1 or 2 hundred.......PRECISELY why I either buy the REAL thing in scopes, or try those 300 - 800 dollar imitations that end up working aswell as those 3,4,5 thousand dollar imitations.....lol. I do enjoy watching reviews, but, until scope companies start taking them apart on camera, (for what that may be worth), as a buddy of mine did in the Marine Corp. to do some comparisons with the proof behind it,....only then will I start believing some of the blahblahblah.....lol.....especially the bullshit line I got from vortex dude when I called them in 2012 right after going in on group-buy back then.....that line & & those 2 POS junk scopes I will NEVER forget.......lol

@@UltimateArms ....as much as I hate paying $4000.00, I can understand the cost vs. msrp from the innovators ie - Euro Mfg'd. Optics, but not for the imitations....them charging the same price, in some instances more, OR even half, is NOT cost-effective for me & imo a rip-off,.....like I said, I either buy the REAL Scope, as in Zeiss, S&B, Kahles, Hensoldt, Swaro, etc., or I buy the imitation that's the same as the rest of the imitations, that are priced accordingly, such as Arken, Discovery, ( as I just learned about that I want to try),....& the like.

@@stevennewman4778 congrats back at you for your sentence showing your 12 year old age, ..lol....obviously you know nothing about the history of Optics or the difference between quality,.....& the rest of the asian shit out there & that you base your knowledge on "monkey see/monkey do" - competitions.....lol.....which, actually what you said isn't really true at all, do you need a Euro-manufactured scope to see how many Kahles, Steiners, Zeiss, & S&B's there are in North American competitions,....not too mention, Sniper comps., LE & MIL.

These things are trash in my book, have one that won’t track and something feels off in the turret( 4-20 model) and they went mute on emails after one response. They get so much hype and yes the glass is nice but that’s meaningless if the mechanicals fail like mine clearly have. A $3800 paperweight is what I have. Maybe I got unlucky with a lemon but I’ll never buy another one and will dissuade people from buying one any chance I get
