I would pay 2400 for a G33 clone but not this. Logan admitted that we want the G33 but they won’t commit. WTF???

Roller delayed rifles dont have reduced recoil, thats why G3's have way more recoil that AR10's
@santanagamingcinema6 ай бұрын
Exactly. Roller delayed works well with pistol rounds but not so much with rifles like the G3.
@PracticalTacticalSheepDog6 ай бұрын
Roller delay 100% reduces recoil, the G3 kicks like a mule because they took the roller delay system straight from the Cetme with zero modification and chambered it in 7.62 NATO which makes over 2500ftlbs of energy. It was designed for a cartridge producing 1600ftlbs of energy called 7.92x41. The Spanish later rechambered it for a modified cartridge called 7.62x51 CETME which was a reduced bullet weight and reduced powder charge version of 7.62 NATO. HK then came in upped the weight of the recoil spring without changing the geometry of the rollers or the weight of the bolt and called it good to go for 7.62x51 NATO. Which technically it could handle the cartridge at that point, but you lost a nice plush gentle recoil. in exchange for a jarring punch in the shoulder.
@larpcel85586 ай бұрын
@@PracticalTacticalSheepDog No. The rifle the G3 was based (more like produced under license) of was the cerme model C, which was chambered in 7.62x51 nato, the only one to reach an noteable level of production. The cetme model A and B are nothing more than prototypes or small trial runs of that. Roller delayed doesnt reduce recoil anymore than anyother locked breach action and i would argue the G3/Cetme design doesnt kick hard but the sheer mass of the bolt makes for more of a pronounced push effect on the shooter
@PracticalTacticalSheepDog6 ай бұрын
@@larpcel8558 what do you think the model C was based around genius.... You literally just repeated what said without acknowledging that the final iteration was not modified beyond changing the recoil spring
@larpcel85586 ай бұрын
@@PracticalTacticalSheepDog yeah sure bud, they didnt have to change anything else but the spring. Not the angle of the locking block, the bolt mass, the receiver dimensions, no just a single spring. Midwits these days are so laughably uneducated

Here’s a thought. Make an Mp5 with a last round bolt open.
@feraligatorade996 ай бұрын
hk already did that with the mp5/10's
@freedomfirst71436 ай бұрын
In order to do that, it would have to take some other kind of magazine besides an mp5 mag. Last round hold open is triggered be the magazine follower and the mp5 mags don’t have that capability.
@hellcatdave16 ай бұрын
Been done, and would be pointless as there is no market for the magazines which would need to have followers that allow a bolt hold open to function. Like said above, H&K already made it work on the MP5/10.

I believe he was talking about since it has a bolt hold open, it can’t slap it home on a reload. You have to either hit the button or actually pull the bolt to the rear and release.

They sound to much like Robinson Arms. They stop making stuff that is unique and in the area of what people want because they dumped so much r&d in to a modern project that it blinded them.
@hellcatdave16 ай бұрын
This could have been an interesting evolution to Roller Delayed Blowback if they made it a battle rifle in 6.5 or maybe .308, 5.56 is such a waste for a rifle like this and the weight alone makes it a weak competitor.

They might sell a few of these, a 300 blackout with 5-8 inch barrel seems like it might be useful suppressed. Everyone crying about a HK93 clone in the comments is very funny. I hope when they make a batch to import, they price them the same as HK93's on GB to keep the laughs going. I have had my HK93's forever and trust me it's not that spectacular special platform yinz imagine it to be, they are mediocre at best. Good for selling not so much for shooting.

Their thought is, and I don’t agree, they’d sell a few hundred 33 clones right away but after that and people have them, they don’t be a long term seller. They believe this is 🤷🏻♂️
@dustinschneider9356 ай бұрын
Is it just me or did Logan have that brush off tone when the G33 was brought up? It’s companies that fail to listen to what people want that loose out. If they did a locking back version of the MP5 clone that would sell so much. Or a G33 clone they would make something that people are going to fall over backwards to get. These shot shows people come and say what they want and the good manufacturers listen and the not so good ones say this is what we came up with take it or leave it. I am disappointed in Zenith Firearms for this. I guess they are going to change the gun to have an AR trigger because that’s what they heard people wanted!!!! I can’t believe they need people to tell them that.
@Barbaroossa6 ай бұрын
I love how the interviewed said there's more demand for this gun than there is for an HK-33 clone when literally no one has ever asked for a civilian HK-33 mated to an AR-esque lower receiver.
